[VOTE FINISHED: FAILED] Re: [Amendment] Section 3 - Article I

Did I? Apologies, must have been a fat fingers issue on my phone. If I were to effectively veto something I would have the decency to say so.

[VOTE FINISHED: FAILED] Re: [Amendment] Section 3 - Article I

Your wording is more ambiguous than you intended then and can very easily be read as the exemption being permanent in that the decision/action point for no further action would already have been...

[VOTE FINISHED: FAILED] Re: [Amendment] Section 3 - Article I

    Opposed

The amendment doesn't say what would happen if an appeal made within 72 hours gets denied or thrown out. Do they automatically get a free pass? Praetorium appeals are also not public so...

    Re: [Discussion] Magistrate Transparency Act

Keep it cool please everyone. I do not like acting in the curia but more posts questioning the motivations of others or accusing others of breaking the rules will, at a minimum, be deleted. The same...

Sticky: Re: Townhall - Curial Commentary and Chat

I'm not going to enter an argument over wording, but Patrician does have a colour-purple.
  9. [VOTE FINISHED: PASSED: IMPLEMENTED] Re: Amendment - Suspension of rank and loss of badge and color display ability

Yes. Having two usergroups for such a small pool of users is a waste of site resources.
  10. [VOTE FINISHED: PASSED: IMPLEMENTED] Re: Amendment - Suspension of rank and loss of badge and color display ability

As long as someone is a member of either group they can be called a Patrician.
  11. [VOTE FINISHED: PASSED: IMPLEMENTED] Re: Amendment - Suspension of rank and loss of badge and color display ability

The two usergroups are called "Patrician" and "Non-Citizen Patrician". There isn't one for non-citizen large award holders specifically, though the NCP one currently fills that role.

    Practically...

  14. [VOTE FINISHED: PASSED: IMPLEMENTED] Re: Amendment - Suspension of rank and loss of badge and color display ability

    Support.

Food for thought however-the amendment in the OP as it is now only affects those who have received an infraction and been suspended from the Curia that way. What about those who have been...

Re: The last few days of downtime

There are intermittent database errors. As yet we do not know exactly what the source of them is.
  16. [VOTE FINISHED: PASSED: IMPLEMENTED] Re: [Amendment] Magistrate Term Gap Closing Act

It wouldn't arise because at that point of proceedings their succesor has not been elected, so they stay in office.
  17. [VOTE FINISHED: PASSED: IMPLEMENTED] Re: [Amendment] Magistrate Term Gap Closing Act

If the incumbent wins an election they stay in office and there is no successor anyway at that point.
  18. [VOTE FINISHED: PASSED: IMPLEMENTED] Re: [Amendment] Magistrate Term Gap Closing Act

I would change the wording somewhat:

    Old:
Unless actively removed or resigned from office, incumbent Magistrates remain in office at least until their replacement election is finished.

    New:...

  20. [ABANDONED] Re: (Decision) Vote of 'no confidence' against Consul Athelstan

Hmm, it seems it is still in existence. I was sure it had been deleted but must have had another similar usergroup in mind. Apologies for that. I will add you to what appears to be the non-citizen...
  21. [ABANDONED] Re: (Decision) Vote of 'no confidence' against Consul Athelstan

No, there is not, as due to the very limited usage of the non-citizen group Hex got rid of it as an unnecessary use of site resources and will not be recreating it.
  22. [ABANDONED] Re: (Decision) Vote of 'no confidence' against Consul Athelstan

The username colour and badge are linked on a technical level as part of the same usergroup-they cannot be split and Hex would not create a new usergroup to separate them.
  23. [ABANDONED] Re: (Decision) Vote of 'no confidence' against Consul Athelstan

Opposed. I don't have anything further to add on the subject of the VoNC that Iskar, KA and others haven't already mentioned.

If we wanted to amend the constitution to clarify things further then...

No, it isn't talking about avatars or custom titles. The issue as things stand is putting news articles over there and linking back to TWC.

[VOTE FINISHED: PASSED: IMPLEMENTED] Re: [Amendment] Getting rid of the praefects

Personally, the only thing I am uncertain about with the removal of Praefects is how referrals/the Praefects role is dealt with. Getting the Censors to do the job is all very well but then we have...
