Re: MTW CTD before menu loads

You did the right thing, forcing 2x AA usually does the trick for most Nvidia cards. I believe (in basic terms) it has something to do with the card being too fast for the game, forcing AA inhibits...

Re: MTW CTD before menu loads

The problem is either DirectX or your graphics cards drivers, not the game. Which graphics card do you have and which driver version?
  3. Re: Weird graphic problem with ShogunTW (Eras edition)

    Hi Arruda,

I'm not sure what the policy here is on linking to other forums (?), but this MTW troubleshooting thread over at the totalwar.org may be of some help to you.

    Re: MTW - still playable?

M2TW is in fact a "newer more impressive revamp of" RTW. It is RTW in the Medieval era and not really the same thing as STW/MTW. MTW was STW with a Medieval theme and many added gameplay features.

    Re: Favorite Units From MTW1

Good units but take some considerable teching up. By the time they're available you'll be almost in the high period and they'll be becoming outclassed.

Re: anyone know if you can make units bigger?

Go to the video options menu and increase the unit size from there. The larger number of men in a unit cause a performance hit on older systems though. Huge size units take 2 years to train, so if...

Ghazi Infantry have a very strong charge, excellent morale and an armour piercing attack. This makes them superb flank attackers. They are also brilliant for ambushing cavalry in woods. They deal...

    Re: Crash Help

1204 is the end of the early era. It sounds to me as if one of your files, related to the high era, is corrupted. Try re-downloading the patch, clean the CD, install everything again and patch...

    Re: I need some help!?!?

Run the setup file from the CDROM itself, don't run it from the game launcher. The file is on the CDROM somewhere, I can't remember exactly where, it's probably called "setup.exe" or similar. This...
