The first three are starting traits for the relevant FMs, the last one is acquired so it seems to me that it's working well.
All the Archon traits are tied to an ethnicity (with the exception of the...
Some traits were renamed, maybe you just haven't noticed them? The spartan one for example is : Ephoros tes Spartes
Can you not get new ones?
Try to use show_cursorstat on the console, it'll give you the proper value.
The reversed NearTile code is the correct one, you should keep it. The region is probably the culprit here.
Yup, all representatives are linked to an ethnicity, apart from one (Nesiarchos ton Nesioton).
Akhaios is a renamed Korinthios.
It shouldn't affect gameplay much. You still have to gather 4 Archons in Korinth for a year for that part of the reform. The main thing is that there are a few new ethnicities for the KH (Apeirote,...
Hellenistic factions don't need colonists to upgrade a polis either, they only need them for the hellenistic colony.
It's a +2 influence boost, and +1 one to naval command (doesn't show up on the UI), and it requires the FM to have 1 influence at least.
I'm trying to see if it can be changed to turn start.
The code for these traits fires upon character selection, what you're seeing is "normal". I'm not sure yet if there's a reason to do it that way instead of the usual beginning of turn though. I'll...
Have you installed 2.01 before? This is a patch that goes on top of that.
It's funny how often you find overlap between the fans of TW, Paradox games, Mount and Blade and Dwarf fortress :D
Did you have any difficulties with getting Archons for KH? Anything else to...
Are there plans to expand the list? I'm thinking specifically of Baktria given their proximity to nomadic factions.
Right now the script checks if an FM is eligible when you select him. It doesn't work if he's inside a settlement, he has to be out in the field. If the following conditions are met, he gains the...
I'm for using a few generic allied rulers. EB1 had struck a nice variety of units with a smaller unit budget IIRC, so I see no reason not to dedicate something like 10 slots to this.
BTW I can't...
I've noticed the Confederation government for the Boii in Patavia doesn't grant any troop recruitment. WAD?
It's at 59% western tribal.
Still playing as KH, the Polis provides recruitment of Machairaphoroi, but not the Metropolis. This is after the thureos reform.
I don't know about Medieval 2's limitations, but in EB1, they were able to break down wooden walls or ram gates.
It was a pretty big part of the Epirote starting strategy. You could take Pella...
[QUOTE=QuintusSertorius;14737656]Were they available in the mercenary pool in the region? Because you can retrain mercenaries that way. That will, of course, deplete them from the merc pool.
I...
I just managed to replenish a unit of Komatai Epilektoi (recruited as mercs) in Athens as the KH.
I obviously don't see the unit as recruitable in the city.
There's also the fact that they can no longer be used to storm a walled settlement on the first turn too.
I actually came in to report the same thing :

The koinon hold Hellas + Rhodos and Knossos.
Our mighty basileus, in his infinite wisdom decided that the greeks...
This is probably just a matter of not being implemented yet, but in the Saba game I'm trying a few of the FMs have no ethnicity traits. This is for a couple of starting FMs, one that came of age and...
