  5. Re: A Worldwide Pandemic - how is it effecting you?

In lock-down, on waiting list for vaccine. Resorting to box-wine for lack of proper supplies. So this is how the world ends?
  6. Re: Citizenship and Infraction Levels - A Proposed Approach as a Replacement for the Ambiguous "Standards of Behavior"

I used the current moderation scale as an example, so yea probably needs to be tweaked a little bit for Citizens and the Curia. I would also like to see infractions IN the Curia have a higher point...

    Re: External Hard Drive problem

Is your security software active here? I have had several instances where I have lost access to a flash drive when I clicked the wrong box in my security interface.

    Congratulations. Nice report too.
  12. Re: Citizenship and Infraction Levels - A Proposed Approach as a Replacement for the Ambiguous "Standards of Behavior"

I see some elements of positive feedback and I will incorporate those into a more refined proposal. I do believe, however, that producing a infraction scale for Citizens will require a substantial...

Re: Osaka Ch.8 (updating every Friday!)

The title is a bit misleading I was following but the Friday deadlines have passed for almost a month now. And nary a drop of blood has been shed. Isn't there a requirement that after action reports...
  14. Re: Did your father or grandfather or great-grandfather fight in world war 2 or world war 1?

Grandfather was in the Marines during WW2. Served in Hawaii, Iwo Jima and the occupation of Japan.
  15. Re: Why the Samnites couldn't beat the Romans?

The Samnites beat the Romans in battle many times, often badly too. But it was Rome's superior organization and resources that eventually turned the tide.
  16. Re: Securing of the burial chamber of a rich celtic prince from Heuneburg

I thought I saw some measurements for the size of the block but its difficult to estimate based on the people in the background. Just eyeballing it it seems rather shallow.

    I insert a link here...
  17. Re: Securing of the burial chamber of a rich celtic prince from Heuneburg

Very interesting. But it seems to me the block they lifted is kinda shallow. Do you have a link to a more specific article for this work? The one to DW is just a picture on my end.

    EDIT: Here is...
  18. Citizenship and Infraction Levels - A Proposed Approach as a Replacement for the Ambiguous "Standards of Behavior"

The concept of "standards of behavior" has long bedeviled the TWC Citizenship and Curial organizations. Because of the ambiguous phrasing, this has led to a multitude of issues when a citizen...
  19. Re: [Discussion] Moderation Warnings Regarding Eligibility for Curial Offices

Perhaps the system should have a point trigger, much like the moderation standards for the whole site. Example, 5pts would lose you posting privileges in the Prothalamus, etc.
  20. Re: The Constitution - A more readable version

I like this idea. One way to go would be to combine all the text into a single section. This would at least remove the referral footnotes.

  26. Re: [DISCUSSION] amendment to section 3

I agree with this idea. Its time to move on from the idea of the Curia as a moderator of "standards" of behavior.

  27. Re: The Constitution - A more readable version

While I agree in principal with the idea of producing a more organized and "readable" version of the Constitution, I would just like to suggest that the document itself has become bloated with rules...
  28. Re: [Discussion] Moderation Warnings Regarding Eligibility for Curial Offices

I also agree with these ideas.

However, I think the whole Constitution needs to be re-written into a more readable format. Remove the footnotes and incorporate all the information into the...
