One of the things that political leaders have forgetton to do is to keep their opponents close to them. Nigel has direct access to Juncker and the rest of the EU Elite. I'm not a big fan of him but he's doing something for Brexit, unlike the charlatans in this Parliament. By not giving Nigel even a position, the Tories have created him as a monster. They were so gracious they thought they'd be able to do Brexit. Look at their condition now. They can barely move before Nigel launches his blistering attack!
This is true, I must have pointed this out. To reflect a majority vote share in the British Elections - you need some sort of miracle if you are going to get 100 seats above. This whole Brexit saga has come at a miracalous time for Farage. It's the perfect opporunity to take revenge from the Establishment over what they did in 2015.
Mark my point. He's taking ample revenge for 2015.
As of now yes. But you had Change UK (the most useless party ever created in the Kingdom of Lunacy) and Mps resigning. It would be an under-statement to see the amount of resignations, bills defeated, a Prime Minister crying for oh I love my country when she had no problem in dealing with meeting oligarches and then she says I don't support them. Most useless PM ever.
This is WHAT should have happened. Ironically we had remainers running a Government. The remainers have in actuality won Brexit for now.
If they had placed Farage in this place, we could have had an entirely different Brexit. Not saying he'd be successful, but at least we'd see something fresh, unlike many remainers wanting to stop Brexit.
Even Piers is a remainer but even he knows the cost of losing Brexit...
This is so much better than season 8 of GOT.
Lol at the lack of any evidence whatsoever backing your argument that those who want immigration restriction are leftists who dislike the EU. Indeed, there are entire books telling the story right now, and it's social conservatives who simply care about their identity.
Eg: National Populism by Goodwin/Eatwell
https://www.amazon.it/National-Popul.../dp/0241312000
I highly recommend it so that you can make a more compelling argument than another retarded tirade about imaginary racism. It's boring. Calling mean names people who dismantle your arguments isn't really working.
I love how you brought up the Guardian, one of the most dishonest source of information out there and pathological producer of fake news. Let's go back to the realm of reality, shall we?

Why the British economy has done better than expected since the Brexit vote

But but but but
I´m not denying that UK is doing somewhat well but there might be reason for it.
EDIT2: ((The chaos was predicted)) ...my bad, this is poorly worded from my side.
By my understanding, I would predict chaos to happen after UK voted (Parliament) to leave by fix date and actually ratified withdrawal agreement or voted for no deal scenario. Basically when it is sure to happen. But even before last Christmas it was pretty clear that Brexit is like 50/50. It was not inevitability. That is the difference. Companies, factories opted for pretendign brexit is not happening especially as UK goverment did 0 preparation or fake preparation (remember ferries... :D ) Like even now it is not 75-90% for brexit. It is still pretty much 50/50. Nobody is going mad about things one year away. No, you are being crazy about stuff in 1-2 months...because stuff years away might not even happen..
Question is, what will happen when you declare "we are leaving next week/month"....especially without deal and when this time is closing...;-)
EDIT:
it is just two scenarios
1) spend money and prepare on brexit that might not happens = but you are spending money in both possible outcomes
2) not prepare and being hit by brexit = lose money in case it happens..but it might not happens ....but keep in mind that in case of crappy preparation goverment usually offers some cheap money to save industry, companies.. :P
at worst you are loosing money in three possible scenarios out of 4....probably some expect the best one.
EDIT3: and I´m not defending the articles, I don´t care about them they are really off in many predictions..
Please stop with the revisionist lies. George Osborne and the Treasury predicted economic misery merely as a result of voting to Leave, not when we left.
Never mind the hilariously delusional forecasts the Treasury issues going out 15 years (!) with all the possible Brexit scenarios. All based on their entirely partisan set of assumptions, which starts from the premise that no outcome can be positive.
I worded poorly sorry. 2 AM here...
Historical fact that the UK trade union movement and weak msanagement was behind demarcation and colour bars which led to civil rights marches and protests. Hence the passing of laws to prevent such behaviour such as the Race Relations and Sex Discrimination Acts. These privileged non-entities are pensioners now, not the heroic veterans of WW2, but the grasping scroungers milking our welfare system via Tory bribes, whilst working people are literally starving.
There are proper impact assessments about the potential effects of Brexit from gov.uk free of charge. No unicorns either. One obvious impact is the squandering of billions in public spending with nothing to show for it, at a time when people have to swallow continuous cuts.

Utter drivel from the Treasury, who are so arrogant they think they can make accurate predictions 15 years hence. No unicorns there, just donkeys.
What "continuous cuts"? Money is still be spaffed up the wall in an unreformed NHS, we sent "aid" money to countries who are so poor they can afford their own space program, and the police are so underfunded they can respond to mean Tweets within minutes of someone reporting them.

No, these are not the actions of European dictators of the 1930s and 40s. Nor the military juntas of the 1970s and 80s. I’m not talking about Vladimir Putin or Kim Jong-un. These are the actions of the leader of our closest ally, the president of the United States of America.
Donald Trump is just one of the most egregious examples of a growing global threat.
The far right is on the rise around the world, threatening our hard-won rights and freedoms and the values that have defined our liberal, democratic societies for more than seventy years. Viktor Orbán in Hungary, Matteo Salvini in Italy, Marine Le Pen in France and Nigel Farage here in the UK are using the same divisive tropes of the fascists of the 20th century to garner support, but are using new sinister methods to deliver their message. And they are gaining ground and winning power and influence in places that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.
I am proud of our historic special relationship, which I’m certain will survive long after President Trump leaves office. The US is a country I love and have visited on many occasions. I still greatly admire the culture, the people and the principles articulated by the founding fathers. But America is like a best friend, and with a best friend you have a responsibility to be direct and honest when you believe they are making a mistake.
In years to come, I suspect this state visit will be one we look back on with profound regret and acknowledge that we were on the wrong side of history.
Theresa May should issue a powerful rejection – not of the US as a country or the office of the presidency, but of Trump and the far-right agenda he embodies.
History teaches us of the danger of being afraid to speak truth to power and the risk of failing to defend our values from the rise of the far right. At this challenging time in global politics, it’s more important than ever that we remember that lesson.
I can only assume your standards for great speeches are rather low, if you consider a bit of hysterical bile from Khan to be the "most powerful". In the contention for most shrill, certainly.
The Caliph of London, whose city has seen a non-stop rise in crime since he took over, not to mention the lack of housing, drug abuse and terrorism, doesn't represent British values. Actually given the UK referendum and EP elections, London is clearly at odds with the rest of the country.
Well it's hard to claim what Brexit would imply at all right now. What are we talking about? No deal? May's deal?
London is also the only net contributing region in terms of central government revenue versus expenditure, so London's voice counts for quite a lot.
The rise in crime might just have something to do with the Met being told to make £1bn in savings since 2010, along with huge cuts to local authorities' budgets, and how you're blaming terrorism on Khan is beyond me.
Could you name some values he doesn't represent?
Legit question, how much of the London net revenue is generated by the City of London and how much is generated by the rest? I'm not sure if such data is available, but it'd be very interesting.
As for the value he doesn't represent:
-Englishness
-basic diplomatic fairness
-rule of law
-tolerance of differences
-respect of allies
Englishness is a British value? Okay, Basil, whatever you say.
Anyway:
- Born in Tooting
- Defended his city against unwarranted external criticism
- Source? Which laws has he advocated breaking?
- Which differences has he been intolerant towards?
- That's an English value? Almost the entirety of the Cabinet has at one point or another criticised a move made by Trump
And you're right: I've had a dig around and that data doesn't seem to be readily available. London and the City of London aren't distinguished in any tax receipt data I've found.
Englishness is one of the many identities part of Britishness. Plenty of people value it. Actually they represent one of the backbones of Brexiters.
The rest:
-Englishness is ethnic, though not necessarily exclusionary for purity purposes
-What criticism? Is Trump worse than Xi Jinping? What about all the Gulf leaders?
-I'm referring to his poor track record on crime prevention, thus rule of law enforcement.
-Conservative viewpoints
-Certainly not only English. There's a fair difference between criticizing and uninviting. Khan can't even do the latter, he's not head of state/government.
Sadly. It would have been a very interesting element.
