As in how is it different?
White label in UK seems to work for RTW/BI/AL so to me, it should work for M2TW.
Start the game, on the Options page, what is the version number?
What is the time/date stamp and file size on your unpack_all.bat?
Dunno if this counts as a shameless plug or not, but anyway: you might have a bit more luck with the new PACK tool I originally wrote to help out johnwhile. Same forum, just a couple of threads down, alternatively see link in signature.
It's worth a try.
just one question is unpack_all.bit suppossed to have any information in the document before its placed in to the folder
No. It just starts with pack1 and goes through all of them in order.
When it gets done, it will be a little over 36,000 files and 9gb of harddisc space used.
right the version of the game is only 1.0 and by date/time of unpack_all.bit do you mean when it was made ?
Yeah, that's what i mean BUT the game has to be patched to 1.02(1.2) for the unpacker to work, preferebly all the way ro 1.3. It will not work on 1.0.
You have 600+mb download ahead of you for 1.2 and another 100+mb for 1.3.
Good luck.
right thats it updated to 1.3 what comes next ?
Time to unpack then.;)
Ishan's right.
just tried to run the program agian and for a breif second the window comes up but then it disappears and this is running it as administrator
What is the time and date and file size of your unpack_all.bat?
19 March 2012, 02:30:07
0 bytes
0 bytes = nothing but the name of the file.
My file is the date of the 1.2 patch.
Try this, instaed.
Uninstall the game in Control Panel,
Delete both Medieval II total War folders,
Run a good, free registry cleaner,
Reboot,
Be sure you are logged in as Admin,
UAC disabled,
Install in C:\Games,,
Install both patches,
Now, try it.
Your .bat files worked like a charm, thank you.
Glad i could help you out.http://www.twcenter.net/forums/pictu...293110&thumb=1
