Dwarven banners.
Following [HN] and Venris banner mod idea, I put the banner on the back, attached to the armor. There is no animation for the dwarves that would work well with the banner in hand.
Dwarves have two banners :
- the bigger one with the hold flag, shared by all the units recruited in the same province. This one is animated.
- the smaller one is faction coloured by not animated, and displays a silver symbol, specific to the unit type (and shared by all factions).
Slayers don't have banners (fixing the pole directly to their bare chest instead of the cuirass was too painful, several slayers died during the test).

Tribal units have two banners. One is the Tribe (i.e. faction) flag, and is shared by all units recruited in the province. It is slighlty animated. The other, a bit smaller, is specific to the unit type, shared by all units of this type. It is not animated, but is faction coloured, and comes with 4 different versions, more or less damaged, for more variety.
Here is an example of damage variations:
Waaghh units have only the unit type small banner (no tribe banners). Generic units don't have banners.
Goblin and Orcs units all have banners except Chariot, Spider Rider and, Squig hoppers. Monsters don't have banners
Here is the example with all the units for Grimgor's Ardboyz
Goblins, banner on hand for infantry, on back for wolf riders
Orcs, banner on back
Savage orcs, banner on back with a kind of harness with leather/bones shoulde pad, to hold the banner

Skaven banners.
- Only one banner with the clan heraldry.
- Skavenslaves, Clan Rats, Stormvermin, Monks and Gunners (night runner, gutter runners) have a banner
- Death Runners don't have a banner, they want to be stealthy.
- Weapons Teams (including Globadiers) don't have banners. I think it would look weird with their animation, or attached to back with their equipment.
Two types of banner: simple one with no ornament nor bell for skavenslaves, clan rats and runners. More complex one with bell and ornament for Monks, Stormvermin.

Lizardmen banners. One banner per unit, not animated (stone doesn't wave as much in the wind as cloth banner).
6 small variation for different types of units. All Saurus/Skink units have banners except Chameleon and Flying units.

Banners for Tomb Kings. Only one banner for their province of recruitment (yes it means an update of the Tomb Kings is coming with more detailed regional recruitment than "Nehekhara")

Banners are all done. I need to do a few new icons for the Vampires, since they now have more regional recruitment units than before (like Stirland, Averland, Ostermark), adjust the campaign map for the new resources, and the rectuitment and capactiy script.
I expect a release of a new version, with Tomb Kings and Vampire, probably this evening, tomorrow at the latest.

It will, but it will take time, that's a lot of work.
First race to get them will be Cathay.

So what am I doing wrong, I already went here https://tw-modding.com/index.php/Edi...res_in_Blender and this din't help to troubleshoot because despite the program 3.5 being no where to be found and some of the options being different I attempted a mock example with just a spear and a cube, tried to follow the steps and all I got was the mesh I created once again being gone.
I would greatly appreciate the help in the form of an answer if this issue sounds all too familiar to you or a step by step guide with the modern tools that you use to create the banners in your picture.

Step 1- Ask Dietrich to share the work he did to create all the models, with all the rigidmodel already usable in a pack
Step 2- Add my own texture to that.
Sorry, I can't help you more, you have to ask Phazer, the author for RME for help. I don't create the models, I'm just using them.
