But...
What is "sth in campaign map"?
I believe sth means 'something'.
I have no idea what he is asking. My best guess is a map preview, but I really dont know.
No, it means Sith. We've decided to change EB II into KOTOR III.
OK! Sorry for my English....:(
Yes, I mean "sth" like as preview map.
It would be awesome!
And what is KOTOR III, Horatius Flaccus?
It's the new Star Wars movie. ;)
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Hello Alkimachos! welcome to the forums.
We haven't really previewed the map yet, although I can say it covers the same are as EB but with a slight extension eastwards. It is also about a third bigger in scale compared to the old map.
Here's one preview that covers a little of what is planned for the campaign map.

ps. KOTOR III = Knights Of The Old Republic III, its a Star Wars game.
Bobbin just revealed that there will be a new faction close to Baktria!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
where do you see this?

That was already announced at the beginning of the development, and they have said numerous times that there wont be an Indian faction due to the culture limit.
Oh, and notice the word 'slight'. So no new provinces.
The engine of MTW2 allows to create more points on the map, but there is no more space in the hardcoded engine to increase the number of possible provinces. What is possible, is increasing the scale (like bobbin pointed out), so the 'crowded' areas have more space and the 'wild' steppes/forests are actually wild and take long to travel through.

Yeah sorry eddy, this has been out there for a while, its a by product of the scaling up of the map for M2TW.
The biggest possible M2TW map is proportionally longer than that from RTW so there was some extra space left. Considering the western end of the map is just desert and sea it made sense to add it to the eastern end.
Basically: It makes the game run faster/requires less computer power, the stuff in the hardcode takes less time to access.
So does that mean there is an extra Greek or Eastern fraction near Bactria or not
The correct awnser is: "perhaps..."
Well yes, but you can't conclude from this discussion that there is a new faction in the region. So the correct answer is no. :whistling
But then again, it's your 'job' to confuse us.
