First I'm really sorry but I don't understand much of these modding things. I installed the normal MTW2(I think you call it the vanilla version) and patched it to 1.2. Then I installed the CAE mod(also 1.2). Now I want to use the CAE mod AND the Ultimate AI mod at the SAME time. I searched in this thread and I found some things, but if I for example just copy the descr_campaign_ai_db.xml
descr_diplomacy.xml
descr_campaign.xml
descr_faction_standings.txt
to the "Clouds Across Europe" Folder the game won't start. After it i tried with copying the descr_strat.txt file from Carnium (page 15) into the ...\campain folder but it won't work. The game starts but before I see the videos(the ones before the menu) the game just quits itself, without any notice or whatever. Please help me to solve this problem.

Hey everyone. I just noticed that priests aren't getting a higher piety level (unless I denounce heretics, which is almost impossible since they always have like 6+ piety) and I don't get to vote in the Papal Elections, is this supposed to be happening?
Also, the college of Cardinals is almost empty too - the Pope won't promote any new ones. Anyone else having these problems?

Ello. Love the mod, but I was wondering how I can turn on the Spy/Assassin cutscenes again, cause I like to watch them. ^^ According to the FAQ I read off the TW site, they should be working, (All the listings have 1 instead of 0 next to them), but they don't. Any ideas? Thanks in advance & again, love the mod.

Is it possible to like, copy/paste the files folder for the units look from one mod into another? I've grown rather attatched to The Long Road mods skins for units & was hoping I could somehow get those for this one. Thanks again.
I have been away for 3 days due to a major internet connection problem I had to buy a new modem...
When trying to upload the cutscenes with the mod it takes 1 gb of size(size of the mod) so what you should do is:
1-Go to your directory
Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\CloudsAcrossEurope\data
2-Right click on an empty space within the data folder of the directory I specified...
Choose create new folder and name the folder "fmv" without the quotations.
3-Then go to the directory:
Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data\fmv
Copy the following folders:
generic
assassinate
event
infiltrate
sabotage
4-Paste them to :
Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\CloudsAcrossEurope\data\fmv
Now you'll be able to see them while playing CAE mod

Not that I only designed a shield I just fully implemented them as being unplayable currently.If I'm to make them playable I'll need more time.I relocated Kwarezm to Tabriz.
Yes you told the flag was black.I found that flag luckily,an official flag of the Abbasids;while making a search on yahoo.I were really lucky.
I was forced to use the green and black over it for it not to be mixed with its neighbor Kwarizmians,also as later Timurids are also coming and since their primary colour is also black there would be much confusion,but in my opinion green/black is sensible since green was an islamic colour and I guess black represented the Caliph or something,also I had to use a lighter green for them not to be mixed with the Turks...
Now I shall continue my work on the Abbasids I'll soon post a screenshot from campaign...

Great that you relocated Khwarezm, haha I am not mad or so, But somehow I feel that my country is ugly when I play as khwarezm and owns jedda:D It will be much better to control Tabriz, baku and the 3rd city.
haha the colour is actually not the greatest matter for me, I have already changed the colours of the other new factions to something that makes my eye see better:D in my game Koj has purple borders to not mix it with the Papal states.
Making them unplayable is always a good start, and whether you are to make them playable or not that is your decision. the most important thing is that you like your creation, it actually doesn't matter for me how long it takes, but it matters to me that you are glad with what you have created.
Great Shields Zeph - You have a done a fantastic job on this mod. I look forward to checking the progress everyday!!!!

im really liking the Abbasid flag and shield, looking great! If you need any help on traits ask :). will the Abbasids be called Abbasid in the descr_strat file or abbasid?
I want to know so i can get the bloodline traits sorted for them.

haha I recently got my Swedish friend to download CAE:D
he had the Regions mod, then I told him it destroyed my game and this mod was much better, not because there was a " Persian" Nation in it, but because it was much better in the campaign and all factions and so.
Basically I used my honest rhetoric to get him to download it:D
Still no offense to RP mod, it was good, But when something destroyes my games, I turn pretty angry:D
haha I have the exact same map on my computer, when working on the Byzantines in history I used that map. That colour fits great on the map, as you won't think it is the Turks, But a person can always change the colours him/herself too.
Abbasid units should be cool, I don't know what to use, but some Arab style armoury. Still they will be an exiting faction to play/destroy. But the most fun will be to play as the Khwarezm with Tabriz as capital, the reconquista of the ME. revive the empire of sun!
