There should be an Etruscan uprising and rebellion event about every 50 to 100 turns before the Marian reforms, led on the campaign map and battlefield map by giant bronze Etruscan statues (at the head of entire ghostly armies of Etruscan terracotta soldier figurines) seeking eternal vengeance for the Roman conquest of Etruria. You know, like this guy, "The Orator" (bronze sculpture, circa 100 BC), known by his Latin name Aulus Metellus, but should be called by his Etruscan name Aule Metele, just how Malcolm X dropped his slave name Malcolm Little and became el-Hajj Malik el-Shabazz.
Will there be official undergarments for EB2? Instead of just having the mod's logo, it should be patterned after the many shield designs of the units in-game. Who wants boxer shorts patterned after the shields of the many greek units like the Spartiatai Hoplitai or the Hyperaspistai?

That's actually not horrible. The shields of this mod are amazing!

That's one colorful pair of boxers you're talking about there! Lots of detail. I'm sure they would be expensive.

Re: The thread for horrible suggestions
I think that all Roman units using the Coolus type helmet should have them replaced with the Toolus type variant of that helm, due to the inherent stupidity of the average Roman soldier. The toolus type should be inscribed with "I'm with stupid" in latin, as was the historical fashion amongst Roman troops. The fact that this mod is missing these very historical Toolus type helmets is driving my OCD insane. ADD THEM NOW!!!!!!

OMG, dude! I can't wait for it to come out after that announcement that they'll FINALLY heed scholarly consensus and accurately depict the correct-looking sandals for Roman legionaries as well as the Seleucid-era Batman Monster Trucks.
These were challenged and famously defeated at the Battle of Raphia in June 217 BC by the Ptolemaic Kingdom and their newly levied Schoolbus Monster Trucks. I suppose one could say that the Ptolemies...took the Seleucids to school. :cool2:
From an Osprey illustration of that famous battle (depicting the final cavalry charge):
I am so sick of people calling Batman a 20th century American invention...The first issue was released ca. 250BC in Kyrene. By that point, mythological heroes had already been superseded by super heroes in popularity. I've been working on a trait recently, "obsessed with comics" which should enhance gameplay by about 37200%.

Personally I've been waiting for the super hero period piece, or for them to enter the historical battlefield.
What do you say? I have this idea in mind
Unfortunately our modellers are all tied up making a Germanic Hulk of some sort. I know some of you are saying: "Why not get back to making actual units?", and to that I say "Superhero comics and artwork existed @ 272 BC. Deb8 me m8.".
I presume your unit idea is already in the works though.
Of course, Kyrenian Batman and Makedonian Superman are already done. We all couldn't wait to see those.

:laughter: The single funniest Roman meme of all time, in my opinion.

DAMN SON! This  just got real.
We were all dicking around as usual, and in comes Rafkos off the top rope, dropping bombs like Vietnams on your moms.
I for one am stoked at this revelation and am hopeful that it shall include such factual information as the great Marvel versus DC Comics teams that faced each other at Thermopylae on the sixth Tuesday of June 190 BC, aided by Scythian mercenaries.
