Hardcore Version Changes
- Increased cost of agents.
- Decreased growth from buildings.
- Decreased replenishment from buildings.
- Increased siege hold out time.
- Slowed down cultural conversion.
- Increased squalor from buildings, decreased happiness.
- Increased food consumption from buildings.
- Doubled building times and costs.
- Increased AI bonuses per difficulty across the board.
- Removed some player bonuses.
- Increased cost/upkeep of units.
- Increased xp threshold for levelling up characters
- Decreased base replenishment bonus.
- Large increase to PO penalties from taking a city.
- Increased empire maintenance.
- Increased penalties of higher imperium levels.
- Lowered overall income.
- Tech times doubled for later techs.
- Increased historical culture bonus in regions.
- Increased AI desire to declare war, made various treaties more difficult.
Softcore Version Changes
- Small reduction to squalor and food penalties on buildings.
- Lowered aggression settings for factions.
- Increased reliability settings for various factions.
- Increased cultural multiplier positives for diplomacy, increased positives for liberating/vassal
- Lowered some AI bonuses, increased some player bonuses.
- Increased income bonus at lower imperium levels, decreased some imperium negatives

I love everything about this except the tech times being doubled. Just because you need the higher tier 3 barracks to build a professional army for alot of the Hellenistic factions. Watching with interest though! :D

i dont know why but it crashes in the beginning of the end turn.

Once 1.1 is released the lower tier barracks will have the more elite units.
I am not sure why it would crash as there are no script changes but I will test it when I get a chance.

Did you reload your latest save and try again. Maybe it was just a random end-turn crash, they seem to happen sometimes but usually aren't repeatable!

thx for this mod!. after i downloaded i updated to patch 17 and sadly mitch mod manager doenst work good anymore.
i found a solution that looks like it does work.
1. start up steam
2. open mod manager
3. click launch and accept to open from a 3e party program
4. steam wil now open up the game without steam mod manager click launch
5. so far nothing happens the popup gets closed and the game doenst lauch
6. now click in steam om the blue icon play and the game suddenly starts.

This is also crashing for me now on the first end turn. I will work on fixing it.

Updated
- Fixed turn crash.
- Added increased AI budgets due to new building costs.
- Fixed income reduction not being applied to GC.
- Removed technology increased time. Maybe will add this back in 1.1 in a different form since elites are available sooner in 1.1.

how are you guys able to play this mod and other mods since the mitch mod manager is broke for patch 17?
using the steam version?

Playing the Seleucid gets twice as much money than before for trade treaties. It's probably easier?

I don't think I edited trade treaty values but maybe I did somehow and missed it. The base income for all player factions should be 1500 lower, though.

Simply use steam mod manager and rename the data pack to something higher alphabetically than the main DeI pack.

I just downloaded Submod: DeI Hardcore 1.05
and activate in steam mod manager, correct ?
-PS. In game I can see the building times are doubled and the cost as well, BUT, the tech time is still the original one, i.e. it is not doubled. Anyone else ?

I wonder, is this submod compatible with KAM's experiemental battle submod ? For some reason enemies feel undefeatable now, in battle I mean. Also, anyone else getting the feeling the enemies spam armies ?
