What about the Sumerian phalanx-like formation depicted on the Stele of vultures?
А phalanx in our will not be a mod. Stele of vultures is not argument of existence of phalanx at the end of bronze age. And at Achaean only Homer talks about a phalanx, and Homer it is a writer, but not historian however.

Hello. King and I are making our own mod, based roughly on this time period. I just wondered if we could use unit models, anims, and thing like that.
Also, can we get permission to use your map and modifiy it slightly? It would just be less work for us.

Nothing mod-foldered works with steam unless you know the app-number (4760 for BI, I think) anyway, it's easier just to copy your RTW folder, rename the .exe file to RTW - BI backup (or RomeTW backup), and put in a fixed exe of BI. I can upload the exe, if you want.

Agammemnon
We are currently working on a mod, but the existing version - until the "demo" version. Therefore, before the official publication of mod Bronze Age, we do not want to model of our units and other parts of the mode used in any other projects.
After the FULL version of mod Bronze Age, we will not object to the use of developments of our mod by other teams, subject to agreement with us and directions our names in сredits.

Thanks Akrit!
BTW, I'm on the same mod team as Agammemnon. He and I both the co-founders. Much appreciation mate.
We mainly just need a map, basically in the same area you have. We are trying to refrain making a whole new map because of all the things that must go with it.
Re: Bronze Age: Total War (Preview & download)
That's what I meant. I just noticed that your map is basically exactly what we want.
Re: Bronze Age: Total War (Preview & download)

Re: Bronze Age: Total War (Preview & download)
very nice mod and thanks a lot for it
but can you expand the map more to the yemen and can you add a yemeni faction in the mod i really like to see one
Re: Bronze Age: Total War (Preview & download)
im sure this will be a great mod and all that but a mod that takes place between 1290-1150 SHOULD have the Hebrews because the Exodus took place anywhere between 14something and 12something.
Re: Bronze Age: Total War (Preview & download)
Played it, loved it.
This was a good idea, and well-deserved.
Just keep on the good work. +rep :thumbsup2
Re: Bronze Age: Total War (Preview & download)
Imperiumiv
No Exodus
No Hebrews
They will be part of the faction which includes all the nomadic tribes, who spoke Aramaic.
The name of this faction "Arameans"
The only mention of "Israel" in the Bronze Age, in the inscription Merneptah, but the "Israel" were not a serious force in the Bronze Age.
So - Ivri, Shasu, Chaldeans, Ahlamu etc - it "Arameans"
If the game had other dates, for example 1050 - 900 BC, then we would add fractions - kingdom of Judah - Saul, David, Solomon, etc.
But we have other dates 1290 - 1150 BC, the other factions and other events.
Is that clear?
