Report:
using your fixed version I've disabled
Radious campaign mod (1/2 conflicts regards the weather)
No hader mod (main mod conflicting, as already known).
Next test: try your fixed version of aztec mod using radious campaign mod.
I've converted aztec mod in movie format so it should override radious camp. mod
I will report the result of this test.

PS: yes sky on extreme (veg Alpha,SSAO, AA Depth of the field ON)

Thanks to Carbide, it is finally working for me as well, great work mate !!
3 pics (2 in Carthage historical battle, 1 on Athenai map) with my own preset (Doktor sweetfx but revised gem file to get more vivid colors, especially the reds)

By changing Curves Mode in SweetFX you can set saturation...

Aztec, did you remove all weather paterns except for one? I've reloaded maps few times, maps like Roma, Alexandria, Athens... And it always was with same weather type, same sky/lighting that is, when in vanilla almost every time when I reload a map I can see different colors of the same setting, thus 'Dry weather' for example have 4 or even more color paterns.

Edit\ @ Aztec, I'll send you a pm later on what needed to be changed. It was what I posted a few pages back about the paths being change in 8.1. You didn't have your files applied to all of the needed sections under weather. Also you had a section included in the mod that was the culprit for killing other mods but isn't needed to make yours work so I completely removed it from the mod.

I can tell that most of us doesn't have patch 7 who own offical rome 2 game. Usually people have patch 8 or 8.1.
