The scripting issue

    Hey, I just thought about a way which might be able to solve the Britain v France problem. In my games it seems that whenever I am in possession of Paris, France will want peace, even if they own most of Europe. So I'm thinking the script might be some sort of conditional "IF France owns Paris" (I'm no scripter ) . Obviously we can't make France not have Paris, but could you just change the name of Paris to "Paris." or something similar so the script would not work?

    Just an idea there...May or may not work, but worth a try I guess.

    There is sadly no script, that we can see at least, that indicates so we can change the effects of holding specific regions.

    Nice idea though, one of these days it will be a random idea like this that gives us the break we need.

    Oh okay, shame

    Another thought...I know modding support isn't great, perhaps even non existent for NTW, but might it be worth contacting CA to see if there is a hidden script in there causing it? Given the huge support TGW has I would imagine CA could possibly help, as it would reflect well on them and boost customer loyalty. A long shot I know, but still, a well written letter/email/whatever may secure some sort of help; even if the "help" is simply them just saying "Yes there is a script in this file".

    In the meantime, have you got round to talking to any more lecturers to see if they can help yet?

    I may contact CA, although I would hold out no hope of a reply.

    As for my lecturers they're really past the point in which they can help now. Unless I actualy getting them modding/playing NTW.

    Like Iv said, hopefuly when Thor gets back and 4.0 and the startpos is out then someone might fix it .
