Faction History: After the death of Alexander the great, the great empire felt apart and the various diadochoi seized parts of his empire for themselves, Antipater was one of those diadochoi and claimed Macedon for himself, the other diadochoi acknowledged his claim and left Macedon for him, However Antipater's loyalty to the crown is disputed and it's only a matter of time before he declares himself fully independent from the Macedonian regent. Before the death of Alexander , he succesfully defended Macedon from the spartan revolt and defeated them at Megalopolis after defeating some revolting Thracians, as a result he knows how to deal with any revolting greeks.

Antipater : The 68 year old veteran made his debut on the history book as governor of Macedon when Philip II , father of Alexander the great was fighting the Thracians around the danube. When athens revolted during this time Antipater succesfully defeated those rebels. After the battle of Chaeronea, Antipater was sent to Athens as diplomat to negotiate an end of the war which he concluded with very generous terms. When Philip II died and Alexander left to Asia he was made Regent of Macedon and succesfully governed it untill his death. During Alexander's absence in Asia, Antipater defeated revolting Spartans and forced them to join the Corinthian league as a result. When Alexander died Antipater Loyalty to the king was already wavering as he was recalled from Macedon to Bbaylon as he constantly undermined Olympia's power. Now that alexander is death , Antipater remains in Pella and his task now is to supress another revolt by the Greeks first, after this it's likely he will declare himself independent from The macedonians in Babylon. Antipater claims that he is the son of Aphrodite as the goddess stands out as favorite In Pella, every year he organises the so called Aphrodisia which is also prominent in the other parts of the greek world, by this he celebrates Aphrodite the goddess and his lineage to her. Since a couple of years ago Antipater is a widower.
Cassander : The 26 year old son of Antipater has always disputed the achievements of Alexander the great and therefore he's a strong advocate for an independent Antipatrid kingdom. It is said he's non tolerant to other cultures and he is possibly behind the death of Alexander. His military career started when he succesfully defeated invading Thracians around the Danube. It is also true that he's a rude man towards his servants. Because of this, the people do not want him to become king. His madness goes even that far that he claims himself to be a new olympian god.
Phila : The 24 year old is the daughter of Antipater. It is said she's a political animal and therefore Antipater heavily relies on her when it's about political affairs. Phila is the wife of Cassander as royal Incest was pretty common in the ancient world and this is to uphold the Antipatrid lineage 'clean and pure' from any 'lesser' blood from foreigners, soon they will be married. Phila is also an important diplomat.

Religion : The antipatrids heavily whorship the olympian gods/goddesses and the lesser deities and frequently participate in festivities, especially Antipater is religious. But with all respect to the other gods/goddesses , Aphrodite stands out as favorite, Temple's are built in her honour, Antipater claims he son of her and since shortly the known Aphrodisia festivity has been organised by Antipater in Pella. The birth of Cassander is seen as a gift of Aphrodite and a sign of appreciation for Anitpater's efforts. Antipater has also written a poem in his history book in honor of Aphrodite.
