    UPON SIGHTING OF NEW LAND

Papal Mission - The New World

The Diplomat walks out from below decks, he walks towards the Admiral. "Congratulation to thee! God has blessed us with the encounter of the New World. His holiness has put me in charge of the Catholic Church in this mystery world, with the Inquisitor at my side, we will be controlling the wishes of the Church in these heathen lands.
My name is Bilal Sajjad, and our first request is for you to colonize a settlement and establish, you have 20 years (turns) to do so. You may keep this settlement."
"Be aware... not doing so will upset The Catholic Templars... Our Official name of our presence here. Soon we will anoint a cardinal here and that Cardinal will be the Pope of the Region but still subordinate to his holiness. The Cardinal May be one of the Templers, one of England, or one of the other nations." The other man said, the man was in a red robe with hood covering his head, his face is
imperceptible. His voice is deep, thunderous and commanding. A cross hangs from his neck, the cross seems to made of pure Gold, his presence unnerves even the most brave and pious.

A young advisor of the King enters the quarters of the Papal diplomat. The boy was clearly uneasy but proceeded to speak with the Holy emissary.
"His royal highness the King of England sends his regrets for making you wait so long, noble guest. Urgent business arose regarding the New world expedition and the sudden aggressiveness of the Baron's alliance, and it has required the full attention of both the King and his cabinet. Again, apologise"
He executes a quick bow and smiles nervously. He regains his composure and continues.
"Anyway, my King has sent me to regrettable inform you that your alliance request has to be declined. It is simply too impractical as you are too far away from England in the Holy lands for us to effectively support you. He does however, hope we can revisit this subject in the future, when the Papacy is established in Europe once more, and we can properly support the Holy See.

The diplomat is reading the Bible when the boy interrupts, "Ah, I see. Much of the other nations, I hear, have the same reaction. We understand."

1st annual Elections of the First Lords

His royal highness, King George I, has decided to suspend the elections for this term, as this has been an incredibly successful period for the Kingdom of England. He has however, called for an election for a new post in the first lords, the First Lord of the Colonies. The 50 man voting committee has voted for the three final candidates:

Henry Cromwell, Earl of Cambridge (13 votes)
    Harold Leeward (14 votes)
    Joseph of Salisbury (23 votes)

The final decision will be made by King George I himself, with the help of his royal advisors.

Edit: The final decision has (finally) been made, and unsurprisingly Joseph of Salisbury, Earl of Salisbury, has been chosen by the King to fill the role of First lord of the Colonies.

Greetings fair friends! Seeing as our culture has reverted to the Vikings of a few hundred years ago, we hope to raid the Scots and Irish. We ask again if it is alright if we take the land west of the river Shannon in Ireland for trade and sheep and whatnot.

The Republic Of Norway has left the Catholic Alliance, I do not trust them now, I do not think you should trust them until they prove their worth.[CONtentbox]

@HighFist You're also taking some lands I want in America, so it's either part of the thirteen colonies or part of Ireland. I'd rather have all of Ireland though.
