244 BCE - The Crown Princess Finds Love! During the epic assault of Byzantium, Tamura was impressed by a brave young warlord who leapt over the walls into a mass of Greeks and dispatched all of them with his deadly sword! His name was Alexarthos and he was of noble lineage among the Aorsoi. The Crown Princess found him handsome and thought his curly blonde hair cute. After the victory they spent much time together and got to know each other really well. When they both returned to their Tribal Homelands they proclaimed their love for each other and decided to declare each other mates. A glorious ceremony was held at the Royal Camp where Queen Aritê fussed over every detail but was extremely happy. King Mordos put the fear of the gods in Alexarthos, charging him to respect Tamura and be loyal to her at all costs. Warlord Alexarthos then became Crown Prince Alexarthos, and together him and Crown Princess Tamura will go out and slay all who oppose them and their people!
238 BCE – New Rulers for the Aorsoi Confederation! King Mordos II and Queen Aritê IV have now died of old age and gone on to meet their ancestors. They will not be forgotten. They subjugated a majority of the Sarmatian tribes into this mighty confederation, helped form the powerful Iranian League of the East, and showed the Greek scum in the Aegean what daunting enemies the People of the Steppes are! Queen Tamura the Bloody and King Alexarthos the Handsome have ascended to the thrones of the Aorsoi Confederation. They shall rule with a firm but gentle grip. They seek to finish subjugating the Sarmatian tribes under Aorsoi hegemony. Then they shall return to the Aegean with renewed fury unless the Greeks prove their innocence. Their son, Zabandos, becomes Crown Prince.

Queen Tamura and King Alexarthos meet with the Qart-hadasht ambassador at Byzantium. After hearing what he has to say, they reply: "Yes, the Aorsoi Confederation is at war with Epirus and Pergamon. Our current war effort is directed towards crushing the Pergamese Greeks. Once Anatolia has been restored to noble Pontic rule we will turn our attention west and ride for Epirus. It therefore may be many years before we can actively assist you in your war with Eprius; we urge your lord to be patient. Perhaps though if the navies of Qart-hadasht land mighty armies on the shores of Anatolia to help us fight Pergamon, we will overcome our foe quickly and therefore can attack Epirus sooner. What would your lord say to this proposal?"

Well... kind of. 1 vs. 1 wars tend to be nothing but an endless stalemate unless one side has very good luck that lasts until the enemy is defeated. But as we know, luck isn't constant. That is why one must always seek friends during a war so that the odds are more in his/her favor. Parthia has unfortunately made a cease-fire with you and Pontos can't attack you until Turn 47 has passed. On top of that, Pontos is talking about extending that cease-fire which would really suck for me... so that is why I'm asking good ol' Carthage to join me in wiping you out. Way I see it, you have me on the back foot, after being beaten up soundly by the Parthians and your own horse warriors. So if you bring in the Carthaginians well... you might have a chance then. Heheheh.

The End of the Aorsoi Confederation? Realizing that there are no friends in this world, only enemies, the royal family of the Aorsoi have made an announcement to their people: "We shall migrate north, away from all the 'civilized' people to the south." The hordes in Thrace and Anatolia immediately sail back to their homelands, allowing their territories to collapse in chaos and go back to rebel dominion. Everyone then packs up their belongings and store them in carts. All the men and women of the Aorsoi Confederation mount their horses and ride north. Samandar is burned to the ground and all the rebellious tribes are allowed to have dominion over the southern steppes. The entire population of the Aorsoi and their fellow tribes enter the dark forests to the far north, beyond the boundaries of the known world. What mysteries await them? What new lands will they find? Only their gods and goddesses know, but one thing is for certain: the vile people of the old world they left behind won't be able to reach them. OOC: Samandar is destroyed. All Aorsoi regions go back to rebel control. This thread is now dead. I will be creating a Pontos thread soon... yeah, Pontos.
