Ambassador Hebeny of Egypt arrives at Bahrain to discuss peace terms with the ruling Caliph. The Caliph had sent Egypt a message saying he wished to discuss peace and so Queen Amunet VIII sent Ambassador Hebeny to do so. She brings along the old peace terms as laid out by her Queen quite a few years ago:

Some of it was now irrelevant since Egypt had conquered through its awesome military might the regions in Arabia mentioned, but most of it Egypt and her allies still insisted on being agreed to. Hebeny reads over the Bahrain proposal and then states that Egypt is not interested in any more Arabian regions. Therefore Egypt doesn’t care about Bahrain expansion in the Arabian Peninsula. Also Egypt cannot agree to permanent peace for there will most likely in the future be an event that forces us to war again. We can agree to just peace for now. The Egyptian ambassador draws up a new treaty:
Proposed Peace Treaty Between Egypt and Bahrain
- The Caliphate of São Bahrain will scuttle (destroy) two of its magnificent-size war fleets in the Old World waters to ensure balance of power on the seas.
- The Caliphate of São Bahrain will gift the island of Zakinthos (if that’s still considered a separate region) to the Despotate of Illyria.
- The Caliphate of São Bahrain will gift all its regions in India and Pakistan to the Queendom of Gandhara.
- The Newer Kingdom of Egypt will allow Bahrain fleets free passage through the Suez Canal once again.
- Hostilities between the Caliphate of São Bahrain and the Newer Kingdom of Egypt and its allies will cease unless the Caliphate declares war on one of Egypt’s allies.
A map is included that shows the territorial changes and the new spheres of influence between all four factions involved:
Basically the two main points are: 1) reduce Bahrain’s outrageous naval power to make Egypt and its allies feel safer and 2) Bahrain must give regions to Egypt’s allies to reduce the chance of war happening between Bahrain and Egypt in the future. “Will you agree to this, lord?” the lady Hebeny asks.
