The Avadorians are seen by many as a religious sect in Constantinople originating during the Byzantine Empire, who could trace their origins back to the old days of the Kingdom of Rome. Consequently, they retain some of their supporters in Rome to this day, and have always been kind to their allies in The Western Empire.

Contrary to popular belief, the Avadorians were much more than that. Under their ruler and founder High Lord Avador I, they held most of Anatolia as the Lamatian Empire, and though there were disagreements with their Eastern neighbours, they lived in peace for many years. It was the Achaemenids that ultimately led to their downfall and defeat at Nicomedia, where their leader Avador XI fell in battle. Unable to stop the advance of the Persians, the few remaining survivors fled to Latium, where they settled not far fro the region that would soon be the centre of the Roman Empire. The Lamatians were forgotten, and the survivors took a new name, the League of Avador. Disguising themselves as a religious sect, they swore to take revenge on the Eastern heathens who destroyed their lives.

A rider in red and purple arrives to the halls of Avador

"Greetings, I come at the behalf of the despot Bardyllis VI. As someone situated close to us, we see it necessary to begin creating diplomatic bonds with you."

Richard, Duke of York, arrives after a long and arduous journey by sea.

A tall man walks up to the gates of the Great Hall of Avodor, where the visitors waited. He looked to be no more than thirty, yet his shoulders seemed to be slumped with burdens. Still, one could tell by his stature that he was a man of importance.

"Welcome to the Great Hall of Avodor, travellers. I am Lord Vindar, and on behalf of High Lord Senarius, I welcome you to our great nation. You must be weary after your long journeys. If you would like to rest before you meet the High Lord,we can provide you with suitable accommodations. If not, our King is ready to hear your words in the Throne Room."

Richard smiled thinly, and nodded to the man.

Greetings, good sir. I am Richard, Duke of York, and Prince of England. I come on behalf of my brother, King Edward, to speak to the High Lord Senarius.

"No, thank you. My trip has not been long enough to warrant a rest here. I have simply come to bring the words of my ruler to yours."

The rider arrives to the throne room to meet the high lord and bows.

"Greeting High lord of Avador. The Despot of Illyria wishes to create diplomatic bonds to your nation, and we wish to begin this through trade. We can trade you fish, wool, iron and timber. This in return for other resources."

High Lord Senarius smiled as he heard the Illyrian speak, and said, "It is fortunate that you have come. I too wished to establish diplomatic bonds with your nation. Regarding trade, our contacts in the East have provided us with the finest silk and pottery, and since the establishment of trade routes with Egypt, a surplus of wheat from our own fields is available for shipment. Of course, if there are any specific goods you require, you are welcome to ask."

To the Prince of England, the High Lord said, "Welcome, Sir Richard. I would like to congratulate you on your success with your expansion throughout Brittania. I am eager to hear you words."

Richard bows to the High Lord, and speaks in a clear, calm voice.

I have come to propose trade on behalf of my brother, King Edward of England.

High Lord Senarius said to the Englishman, " Of course. We are always open to trade with all nations. We have several shipments of silk, pottery and wheat. If you are interested in further discussion on trade resources, my advisors will be happy to inform you of the details. What can we expect in return for such goods?"

Richard shrugged.
