At BF's orders lets start with items.

Firstly some of the best and possibly since Eol's death the Naugrim or dwarves make the best arms and armor. Using BF's words as a guide I suggest you should have to physically travel to wherever your equipment shall be made and rp and pay for it. Mind you these items will not be famous or named. These items already exist and eill be stronger than those made on command. Any arms or armour will cost vast amounts of money and jewels if you want the full quality, you will also have to go to the Naugrim's stronghold to bargain and convince them to sell to you. Items could be made at other places and such but almost all will be inferior to Naugrim made equipment.

They did. One fell into the possesion of Thingol, and Beren cut them from Morgoths crown after the game starts.

So will it be rpd? Or is assumed it happens? Remember both Beren and Luthien died. Plus numerous elves and elf lords. To take the other Silmarils you must battle Morgoth.

I was going to say that Silmarils could be obtained through RP, on quests similar to Beren and Luthiens and through stuggles.

    Pyrrhus the Molossian
Well you would have to personally battle Morgoth and some of his greatest servants for them. Literally invading Angband.
