    Background
Flower arranging was a very integral part of a Samurai life. They had many past times besides warring with other clans. Most of them were Buddhists who believed all life was important, but also to try and live in the moment. One way to do this was to simply observe a sunset and realize that there would never be another sunset that was the same. Therefore they took in the beauty of a simple sunset for its own uniqueness. The art of Hana Kotaba served a similar purpose. Setting flowers in a specific way so that each part could be appreciated within the whole arrangement.

RP Choose between 1 and 3 flowers for your arrangement. Also choose a vase. Lists are provided for both with meanings for each. The describe you how will set the flowers. The more specific you are, the better the RP and the more points you will earn. It can be as simple as: "Matusi places the rose at a 45 degree angle in the vase, the long stem only has 1 leaf on the left side."
You do not have do give any information or explanation as to why you did it or what theme you were tying to give off. The is for the individual viewer to experience himself. However you might want to consider who you are setting the flowers for, your lord, another Daimyo, a female, a monk, etc.
