Wonderful group when I saw it I had to join inmediately¡¡ Im a big Moghul Empire fan and is my true historical speciality with the European History between the XVI and the XVII centuries. I have read lot about mughals including the embassy of Antoni de Monserrat and the Akbarnama and various contemporany sources. I have also wrote few articles for historic forums one of them has been readed more than 45000 times and I've done a conference in my local town about them. I think the best of the emperors was Akbar but my favourite is Shah Jahan. Its a pleasure to join this group full of mughal fans, and even mughal descendents, such an incredible honour. You are a lucky men, all of this works aren't edited in spanish, and if they are edited in english are just unavalaible to download, the only one I had access, and in english is the Akbarnama, and I'd love to read the Shajahan-nama. Ps:I think the mughal diserve a MTW 2 mod in their own, which starts with Akbar and finishes with Aurangzeb in 1707. Have you ever thought about that? Since I own MTW 2 Id always wanted to do it, but never found help.
The Shahjahan-nama is good but there is a lot of flattery in the book , the same goes for Riazul Islam's collection of letters between the Persians and Mughals which is a fascinating read since it gives an insight into how they use to write to each other in those days. A Mughal mod for M2TW would be good but you would need modelers,coders,skinners and mappers to achieve it
I could code almost everything, and I would do the whole 2d art (Portraits, UI, unit cards, building etc, etc...) but would need a moddeler and a mapper. Also the research wouldn't be a problem. If I could just find a Mughal's lover with moddeling abilities¡
Why haven't you read the Muntakhab-ut-Tawarikh?! It's more interesting and vicious than the Akbarnama. I can't recommend it highly enough.
