Then I have a different viewpoint on this matter then. You misunderstood my point. Not going to bother trying to explain it as you'll probably say the technology shouldn't be allowed. No, crossbows, bodkin arrows, stakes, halberds, warhammers, maces, etc. shouldn't all have to be researched. Some nations should have thenm right away. Same thing for knights- Not everyone should have the finished knight product right away. It's unbalanced if that is the case. Again, different viewpoint and the mention of one story without clarification makes people believe it will just be one, all encompassing story.

woah people. this thread was to Simply state tech level of the RPG overall, not to make descisions on each and every piece of tech and how it works and how effective it is and what a nation has to do to develop it, and what kind of units any nation can build based on how much tech/military/wealth/population they have, and how powerful said units are.
