came up with 2 ideas but im wondering who wants to try to make em 1) for highland clansmen, add the spike on theyre targes 2) to make the bagpiper muscian in the scots armies, no need for reanimation but to put the arms/hands in right positions
This quite simpley would be an awsome Mod! I assume it'll only be the 45' Rising? Or perhaps several campaigns for each rising? However with the likes of the 45' Rising you'd have to imagine the rising lasted alot longer than it did, if not... That's a very short campaign! Faction Suggestions: Jacobites (Irish, English and Scottish Jacobites, perhaps seperate factions) Loyalst Forces, so basically the rest of UK France There'd have to be ALOT of regions, especially in the Highlands and West Coast just to empthasise the fact that not all Lairds and Clans were Jacobites and some fought for Cumberland. But, I think just a sub Mod with various Scottish units - like the one I use, which has Highland Clansmen, but I canna mind the name of it - with a Script that couses a rebelion in the UK, but that would require a Scripter.
well yes obviously th 45' rebellion, the most famous of all of the rebellions. This is obviously for etw and i doubt regions can b made especially in sucha small zone. The mod will just change up the scots faction to match the jacobites as historically possible as well as the english...which is done though. The bugs with the english is the added units also affect the scots as well. A campaign like that will be somethin that of a sequel mate. i do need a scripter though
Yeah, I realised after I wrote all that that's more for a Dev' team. But I suggest the AUM Submod for DarthMod, check out the Scots units in that mate. See what you think? Give ya some ideas.
@madrush: Keeping the English and Scottish units separate is easy. The "bug" you mentioned is because GB and Scotland are in the same unit group, so they share units... Unless a unit is specifically denied to certain factions. Basically, just turn off English units for Scotland. About scripting a rebellion... you can't script anything in ETW.
'...you can't script anything in ETW.' Ah man, thought so... What about NTW? There's a Mod, I think it's EiC that has introduce Disease into the game. But, Im not sure that was through scripting or w/e.
ETW, NTW, and S2TW all have the same modding system. So no. That mod tweaked the Attrition feature of NTW.
Actually chaps Kungfusurge and Panzerschreck have done some amazing things with ETW and NTW, so there is hope for some scripting...check out the Khartoum and Zulu Mod...quite baffling achievements there mates.
