Fyrom isn't Macedonia, when we talk of Macedon we talk of the real Macedon where the real Macedonians live. Macedon lies in northern Greece.

FYROM is not Macedonia, they have no claim to that title (the only thing they got going for them is the fact that they are, geographically, in Macedonia), for it belongs to the Greeks... Plus the Macedonians of history weren't Slavs... Macedonia is Greek - nay, it is Greece!

You are all right. Macedonia will be Greek forever. Before the FYROM name, they were called Vardarska. The idea of calling themselves Macedonia was a Russian propaganda in the 19th-20th century.

If you mean Russia attached itself to Megali idea of the Third Rome, Greece itself attached to the Roman Empire.
Yes, I meant that, but the Greek claim to being the Roman Empire actually made sense, since they were Roman citizens. The Russian claim did not. Also, Russia claims that it was involved with the First Battle of Tannenburg against the Teutonic Knights with Poland and Lithuania. This is also not true.
