Samothrace and Chalkidiki are under Cretan influence while the rest of Macedon and Thrace belong to the Eastern Romans. Negotiations now move to the topic of an alliance. Gaius Trebonius replies well this is bit awkward, since Massilia is our main target and it declears in our name that we are Gaulish aswell as Romans and them french expects us to just bag our bags and move away? we are not being reasonable we think we can come some sort of agreement on Gaulish lands? split the western part to us from the river that starts from lugdunum and from Massilia to west all would be our and everything in eastern side of that border line would belong them aggressive frenchs ones.
