Well I updated by diplomacy section. There sure are a lot of king-doms... Luckily they are nowhere near the Land of Paradise (aka Amazonia), so I might move them to Neutral/Unconcerned. Cheers! Cats

I suppose I like the whole history - I know next to nothing about the Amazons, so I don't know what you've made up and what's factual. Although I think the Amazon Queen will find it hard making allies, as I assume pretty much every other faction (with the exception of Noblewoman's) will be male orientated, in comparison to the Amazon's attitude to men.

Since the Amazonians are a mythological people, you have to have a bit of an artistic license to flesh them out. The stories of the Amazons are (sadly) made up by our three “sources” on them, though the Amazons are based on the Scythian/Sarmatian cultures where women fought on horses with the bow and arrow. In short, my faction's history not factual.
NobleWoman is going to be Good Amazon while I’m Bad Amazon. Gandhara seems very lenient and tolerant by making trade and alliance treaties with those other states. Amazonia is going to keep to itself like it has always done. Which is fine because I have a ton of role-play that doesn’t involve other factions that I can post.

@Lord of Dread: of course you liked the Religion section. Everybody loves the Amazonian religion! It’s a religion with benefits. Unless you are a chauvinistic pig-headed male who has harmed a female… then you will get sacrificed in a bonfire and die slowly in the flames.

I'm very tempted to contact the Swiss Mercenaries to pay them a ton of silver to team up with Venice and expand south. Maybe that will make Maximus create a different and NEW faction for this game.

Ladies and gentlemen, I believe we may have a problem - see, the map with the rivers has only been created for the europe map. Therefore we have two dilemmas:
1. There will be no rivers in the Americas
2. As the map with the America's is a different file to the map with just Europe, once the America's part is unlocked, Europe won't have rivers.

Therefore, I think it'd be best to use the regular map, and not use the rivers one, as it's incomplete. Thoughts please?

Option 1 please. I'll edit the map if you want. Just post the rivers map image so I can download it. I'll copy and insert it over the Europe part of the New World map and... viola! It should be lovely. Cheers! Cats

Ooh fancy I assume that this has more regions, as the rivers have cut many regions in half. Also are those where you assume Castille, Aragon and Switzerland are starting, or is that true?

NobleWoman - that's where the map usually ends, otherwise we'd soon be calling it Old World RTD (we have Europe, North Africa and much of South West Asia)

meh i'm going to start somewhere around the donau as that would be the river the closest to the Anduin in middle earth and is a perfect place for a capital such as Osgiliath
