Hi. The Mughals are very underrated, they were at one point the richest empire in earth, and something like 5th largest empire. People are always quick to slander Muslims in India, but the Mughals truly created a rich culture drawing on both Indian as well as Muslim influences. Plus of course the obvious amazing architecture.
yup their wealth were staggering,Abraham Eraly says in his "The Mughal World" that the wealth of the Mughal empire at the end of the 16th Century was 17 times more than that of England at the end of the 17th Century.I feel in India they're still overrated and more emphasis is given to figures who fought them like Shivaji (who I think was just an upstart and a decoit) well TWC is quick to slander Muslims in general lol. yes the Mughals created a rich culture with influences from India,Iran and Central Asia.As well as the amazing architecture there is the cuisine,literature and of course Urdu which is their legacy .

most of the desendants of the mughul empire live in hyderabad
hmm supposedly they're scattered around and anyway Hyderabad broke away from the Mughal Empire in the 18th Century and continued to be ruled by the Nizam into the 20th Century.
i went to my relatives house and seriosly everything is made of gold even the toilet seat they have their own movie screen and everything! and the instead of sayin THANHK GOD they say THANK YOU and there pointing to a frame of one the emperors

interesting, my ancestors where Swedish and Scottish im trying to learn all i can about the Mughals though, i honestly never heard of them before i played ETW
lol,my ancestors supposedly served the Delhi Sultanate.I can recommend some books on the Mughals if you want

there is a movie on mughul empire, came out 2 years ago , saw it it is awesome it is in Urdu but it has english subtitles,it isnt cheesy either i reallly like it , well i also understand urdu http://www.jodhaaakbar.com/
I dunno for me it came across as cheesy but I like the songs, even my Iranian friends can understand a bit of it ,especially this one: It was a good film overal although Akbar was more muscular in that film than in real life
