Yep, Rogue General has certainly made the game interesting... He has a lot of guts to start right next to the largest (and therefore most powerful) faction in the game right now. So that means Anatolia (Ottomans vs. East Romans), Italy (Romans vs. Genoa), the Balkans (Dacia vs. East Romans), and the Baltic (Sweden vs. Estonia) will be the major theaters of war most likely. This means that there will probably just be little wars here and there and no major power blocs duking it out. I miss the EWIV days when it was like West vs. East (except the East, which I was part of, lost). I don't see large alliances happening again. I found the alliance between Bohemia and Prussia totally unexpected. What the hell happened to make you guys buddies all of a sudden? Personally, I don't see it lasting. Bohemia has quite a few regions Prussia has laid claim to. And Forrest tends to "beat anyone that annoys me into a bloody pulp" in most of the games he plays. WC
WC has to remember that I, N B Forrest, am part Bohemian in real life. Of course, one doesn't play a game to lose, either.
@WC I think that if Rouge General can hold out long enough for Dacia to come into the war, then it will be very interesting. But if not, it will probably be a cake walk for the Eastern Romans.
Well as far as I know I have only expanded into polish territory, and I will only focus on Hungary from here on out so Poland can be partitioned between Prussia and Bohemia if it is needed. and please, on the argue of legitimacy, romes been gone in the west for a thousand or so years by now. Rome rising again is definitely illegitimate as it disrupts the natural order of things in the west, wreaking feudal kingdoms founded by franks, Lombards, etc. those kingdoms take precedence over Rome in the order of legitimacy as Rome is a new nation once again.
