News from the East in the Parthian capital: while sleeping, Alexandros II, heir to the Athenian throne, was almost murdered luckily he escaped due to our servant who is supposed to sleep in his place. With the old king of Pontos gone, and a new one who knows the Lord and Lady of Parthia well and is a friend coming to the throne soon, the alliance between Pontos and the Seleucid Empire will surely come to an end! Due to Athens' declaration of war on our friends, the Egyptians, Queen Artystone of Parthia cancels the trade agreements with that city state. Alexandros II is cast out of the lands of Parthia, is told never to return, and is free to choose to go anywhere else he wants. Relations between Parthia and Athens have once again returned to poor.

Alexandros is summoned to come back to Parthia after an unknown person explained his situation. Alexandros is recruited as a mercenary captain under Mercenary General Artemisia of Parthia. He is given command of a corp of cataphracts and joins the attack on Susa.
