So for American Christians here, what's everyone doing for Thanksgiving? I'm going to celebrate it at home with my family, having a large lunch, and maybe a dinner at someone else's house later in the evening.

Well, now that Thanksgiving's done, what are your plans for Christmas? For my family, we're having our Christmas party at home with some relatives. Then the next day we're going to another party.

I don't think I'm doing much for christmas, just getting together with some family.

I'm going overseas for Christmas, since most of my family lives in the Philippines. Pretty excited since a lot of people will be there (it's more or less a reunion). I'm actually already there, which explains why I haven't been on the forums a whole lot recently.

Most of my family is in New Zealand, but a few are in England at the moment. I'll be spending Christmas and Christmas eve with them and friends at by place. Champagne breakfast and a nice traditional dinner.

Praise be to god! Christmas in gonna rock! Praise him also for having new years and my birthday so close to it. Late December/Early January is my favourite time of year

Doesn't this season just get you in such a great mood!

It sure does, Vikingr. Christmas is my favorite holiday, period. Only Easter is as good as Christmas. It can be argued that Easter is more significant for Christians, though, as Christ died and rose from death. Christmas Eve or Day isn't even the day that Christ was born, supposedly, but it is the time that we celebrate Jesus' birth.

I would say his birth was just as important. After all, without a birth, how could he of died for us?

A good question. Don't know really. ... Well, the bible says it will happen so its no big surprise.

Perhaps its something to do with the fact that they think when they die, that's it, your no more. If that's not something to make you miserable, I don't know what is.

Hi everyone! School started a few days back, so I'm on my spring semester now. Things will get rough. Nevertheless, I will depend on the one of whom my faith is placed for comfort and guidance during these times.
