    A new Emperor comes to power in Orlais and times are indeed favourable. To the north east, the power of Nevarra, that once rivaled the Orlesian Empire, is fading and declining due to dissent that is being funded by the Empire. To the far East, the Kingdom of Ferelden, under the reign of King Alstair, has managed to fight off the Fifth Blight, but left their military power in a fragile state. The re-conquest of Ferelden is very tempting for the new Emperor wanting to prove his prowess to the Empire and his subjects. The policy of non-violence against the Nevarra in the Dragon Age shall be respected...for now. Trade with the Kal-Sharok, a thaig of the Dwarven people, has proven to aid the Empire's economy, which has slowly recovered since the High Dragon attacks on Orlais during the Fifth Blight. Now in this age of violence, known as the Dragon Age, what will the new Emperor do? Where will he steer the Orlesian Empire towards? Peace...or war?

    - Emperor of the Orlesian Empire (Sirius's claim...Andraste have mercy )

    Soldier, Battle, Commander, etc Soldiers
    Levy- Basic troops, weakest however free and regenerate after each battle (from land)
    Mercenary- Relatively expensive one time payment, alright strength, no upkeep or regeneration (from mercenary rolls to show availability)
    Professional- Expensive, upkeep costs but best units available, regenerate after two years (always available)

    Commander traits
    Characters have a command value, this value denotes their prowess in battle. A number of traits add and subtract from this value and can be gained through various things (traits wip) Ranks give command stars, the highest rank +5, lowest rank +1, freedman +0

    Field Battle rules
    1. Initial battle chance for either side: 50%
    2. For every 100(0) soldiers more and 5% is added to one side and 5% taken from the other
    3. The difference between the two command values is added to one side and taken away from the other respectively
    4. Each levy soldier is worth 1, each mercenary is worth 5 and each professional is worth 10. These scores are added up to find an armies total value. These values are then compared and the difference worked out, if this difference is greater than 10,000 +10% is added, 9,000 +9% is added, 8,000 +8% is added, etc...

    Example Emperor Jacques- 6,000 levy, 4,000 mercenaries, 5,000 professional- Traits and values +10 command
    Duchess Sophia- 1,000 levy, 2,000 mercenaries, 10,000 professional- Traits and values +3 command

    DS has a score of 35000 more than EJ so she gets +35 to her roll

    DS is attacker so the first 76% if rolled she wins
    EJ is defender so if the last 26% are rolled he wins
