Ok, I would like to Ask Everyone 4 questions about how they want the RPG to be like

1: What Level of Technology is the world at? Steam Punk? Dark Ages? Spppppesssss?

2: How Fantastical is the world? (Ie, does magic work? are Gods Real and influential? are mythical Beasts (dragons and skelotons and Orcs, oh my) Common, are even existent?

3: What Is the RPing focus? will the players hold armies, or work in small groups where they level up and fight evil?

4: anything else you might want to add.

    3. Armis of cities-states in sky. Land is unstable for the colonies
    4. Three races, trade, every cities-states have a unique resource and some frequent. So you need to trade or steal it so you can create some new ships or someting like that

    1. I would prefer something Medievalish or Spacish. I'm not sure how much interest Steampunk would draw.
    2. I wouldn't mind a sorta half and half. Have magic important and beasts important, but treat them as though they are good alternatives, kinda like in ES.
    3. Same as Shadow in regards to the City States.
    4. Just as Shadow said, in regards to what I have put above

    1. Maybe or maybe not steampunk... I would actually like Napoleonic-Age tech personally, but if people like Steampunk,I can try Steampunk.
    2. I think that it should be a human-dominated world, but still have influential mythical beasts.
    3. Okay, check the previous thread for my answer in a little wwhile.
    4. Not really.

2: If Medieval i want either Middle or LOW fantasy. If Steampunk, Low Fatasy.

3: Everything one RPs towards shall be possible.

4: This will be very hard

1 : Either Renaissance or Medieval. Technology could improve throughout the game via rp(discovering a new item/weapon/technology,etc...like an airship, or improved airship), vary by nation(s), or improve at set rates?
Say we start in a Medieval Era :
    Level 1/0 Medieval
    Level 2 Late Medieval/Early Renaissance
    L3 Late Renaissance/Early Imperial(1700s)
    L4 Napoleonic to 1880s
    L5 Boer War/WW1/Etc.
Would take a long time to improve from each one to another..or something..just an outline. But I would like to possibly have the game evolve in some form.

2 : Magic will be around. Gods..perhaps some ancient avatars/creatures of the Gods are dormant, but otherwise they are more attuned to a established Church of which chosen members recieve blessings from the god or something(Can be for evil religions as well). The World, more or less is medium to high fantasy as Orcs and other mythical creatures can be found in medium numbers in some areas.
    3. More or less, I would like to see the players start small(Mercenary company, minor noble, adventurer group, a guild, etc.) and build up to the higher statuses. Land is useable, but there are also air continents accessible only by airship or magic. Some areas of the world were destroyed/corrupted in a ancient war, leaving them uninhabitable but by a few mythical things.
    4. Perhaps one main nation the players are a part of to start, but that nation gets destroyed at some point and then the players can do whatever- try to rebuild it, join another faction, become a dreaded bandit/pirate, or whatever. Also have the option to create their own factions if they get enough influence/military might..etc..

Ok, for, here is what I was thinking

1: Medieval Level, maybe rennesiance in some places. Steam punk or spessss would be ok depending on how its handled

    2: Full magic system.

3:I would like everything to be possible, but you have to work towards it. want to be The Richest Bastard on the face of earth? you can, but you have to start as a normal business man. you want to befreaking Thor God of Thunder Incarnate? you can do that, but you've gotta start as Normal Fighter and get more powerful. This is where I think that having someone in charge of Story Progression/NPC's/Rule Manegment would be very important.

4: I am willing to compromise on everything. I believe that to do this right it will take all of us, united. were probably not going to do exactly what any one person wants, but, most likely, its going to be a mixture of mutually acceptable middle grounds. (Though, of course, there are things I feel more strongly about than others. like everyone starting out small)

    1. The roman times
2.There are some Wizards but they aren't too common. Gods are very influential and Mythical beasts are rare but do exist.
