The Great Siege of Vienna

The Venetian Genocide

Problem: Venice attempted a genocide of several ethnic groups in Venice.
Status: Solved
Solution: Venice will deport most of the ethnic groups mentioned. And Katwijk and the Republic of the Detectives will send peacekeepers to Venice.
Completion of the Hall of Records

The Hall of Records is officially opened, with High Scribe Octo announced as the Keeper Of The Records. New information is avaliable to all nations that request it.
Further Library Construction

Corridor of Science, Corridor of Medicine, Hall of History, and Hall of Warfare completed.
Spike of Tomivia is announced as the Head Scribe. Per Olauson is announced as the Guru of The Garden. Two new Keepers of The Dome announced; Ceallacha Goddard, and Felix Edwin Dahlman. Head Scribe of the Hall of History is announced Cambyses Irechus. Hernandez de Milano of the Republic of Detectives is named the Philosopher of the Garden
The Spice "Wars"

Venice attempts to assert their control over the spice trade, but is quickly shown that they do not actually control it by other nations.
Hall of the Council Completion and Tragedy at the Observatory
Year: 167 RTD
Another hall has been constructed, the Hall of the Council. Head scribe Spike takes his position at the Hall.
Karel Karenin of the Komi Free States is named the Head Scribe of the Hall of Science.
Several workers on the new Observatory were killed when the dome above collapsed. The bodies of those recovered were sent back to their respective nations.
Reconstruction of Ecbatana

The New Achaemenid Empire begins the grand reconstruction of Ecbatana, one of the ancient capitals of Persia. The finest architects, sculptors, artists and gardeners journey into Ecbatana to help with it's reconstruction and to make it one of the most glorious cities in the world. It shall be claimed as the new capital of The New Achaemenid Empire after 3 turns.

The Great Library

After years of construction the library is finally completed, books from all over are stored there, and years upon years of knowledge can be gained.
Katwijkian events
Year: 174 RTD
King Nico VII calls back all of his workers. They immideatly must travel to Zeeland because there are lots of floods. There mission is to build walls on the dikes of every island. Not only will this bring safety to the civilians there, it will also be the biggest stronghold ever built.
At Copenhagen, a statue of Nico I has been erected.
Nico VII, the childless king, found a sroll about the rebbelion in the tomb of his ancestors. Now a copy has been sent to the Great Library so whole world can read about the hero of Katwijk. The original will be kept at the treasury of the Silver Palace, the palace of Katwijk.
The old seamarshal van Leyden and fieldmarshal van der Maerel have died.
The war of Katwijk vs. Denmark finally ends with Denmark being united under the Katwijkian banner.
Plain of The Dead

The Capsian Horde completes their latest achievement, the Plain of The Dead, which now stands for all to see.
Peace or war?

The Caspian Horde and Dnieper Tribe are nearly pushed toward war, but it is avoided and a treaty is signed between the two nations.
The First Chancellor

Augustus of the Kingdom of Katwijk takes his place as the first Chancellor of the United Council.
Law of the Land

The first official law is passed by the UC with a near split vote of 4-3. It allows free passage of the seas, unless there is proper reason to stop it.
Pax Finlandia

The Kinship Wars of Suur-Suomi ended. This new era is called Pax Finlandia.
The Capitol

The Capitol Building of the United Council has begun to be built. The construction is being lead by Cyxuqia and the Kingdom of Katwijk.
The Power of the Chancellor

The High Chancellor exerts his authority to resolve a problem between The Caspian Horde and Lusitania. The problem is solved, both Lusitania and The Caspian Horde bow to the wishes of The Counsel and the Chancellor.
Death and Dissent

Katwijk's latest king, Nico VII died of old age. As he leaves no heir a small civil war of succession began. There were two sides, the Royalists and the Republicans. The Republicans quickly conquer most of the country, but some bands of the Royalists still hold out in several strongholds.
The Palma Method

A theory has arisen in Siciliana Stato di Polizia. It is believed that the ability to make objects move themselves through the motion of water can lead to power. It is dubbed "The Palma Method."
