That about sums it not even close ..err, halfway up. I approve.
You've got LlamaD to approve of something? Correct me if i'm wrong but, that must be a first.
It's not like i'm Moses and keep getting questions if y'all can play sodom and gomorra instead of comitting adultery. Spoiler Alert, click show to read: But srsly Must-name-Haven, are you taking him or not? (trans-quil-lator: The Narrator, he is.)
What do you mean taking him?
using, integrating, adopting apparently never came to mind, i c
No, that came to mind... except that I already use a Narrator...
Get him fired. I don't think virtual narrators have protection against dismissal
remember you need that equipment..
Get him fired. remember you need that equipment.. So, you want me to use a flamethrower against my Narrator? :hmmm:
Ewww, I've been thinking in a bit more conservative ways... As in 2 b here... But, if you really want to, I think there's nothing that can be said against the proposition to use some special equipment on him :hmmm: That is, at least ethically. Don't know if your narrator has some precautions made, like a fire insurance or an asbest suit
Guys, the ETW AAR forum is up and running, you can already start posting your stories: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=1052
That is quite a pleasant surprise
Hmm, need to think about planning my (proper) CCC sequel . I'll say one thing and one thing about it only. I'll play the campaign out in full, then spend a while going over the story. So i'll have finished writing the thing before I even upload an update, so it should (hopefully) be good quality . Really need to do something different with it, as i've felt with all of my comedic AARs, that they're all very similar, the the level of comedy is diminishing as it goes on. Hopefully with some time spent I can sort out something good . I'll try and do a quick brief "traditional" AAR when the demo's out though
the level of comedy is diminishing as it goes on. Amen to that, I like your real humour much more than this for-14-year-olds type you did in your AARs.
That's the problem when you suck yourself into using too much swearing or nonsense. One of the few things i disliked about some AARs (no names). It's contagious. Remember the deleted spam in the revenge of the non-rabbit? It's just hard to get taken serious again later. You are basically forced to continue in-character. Like American Pie 15. <gak> On the other hand, if you write it all before soaking feedback in, you rob yourself of some good ideas. Personally, i finished the campaign, stored the pics, got some vague major lines, and everything in between comes with the reaction&interaction from the readers (stop grinning).....and the current mood. Therefore i am able to stretch it to the year's end. So i can still work in characters/changes/flaws/storylines. It's far from perfect, but it grants a little bit more freedom. I also hate you for making Cakmak a complete idiot. Let's just say you can do better.
Hmm..... bout that huh? Comedy... let's see..... Ah, basically when you wanted to make your comedies it's actually better if you do not make a sequel for all. That way gives you much more freedom in the case of making your suitable humours. Like, for example. My new IB AAR : The Hunnic Adventure. I used a completely different type of joke to fill in my AAR. But let's say you are completely used to your type of humour. If you desire to change, you can change and you must change! That way it's no boring to read another one. Personally speaking, if rather, they compliment you for having the same things all over again. Then I must say you are quite a bit overrated. Sarcasm aside, if sarcasm at all. Give us something fresh, start over your jokes. I'm not saying to start over your AAR. A new piece of comedy would sure make us laugh more than we do now.[/Obama style speech]
Oh, when I say a sequel it just follows on from the end. The characters from CCC would just be a backstory, i'd be using completely new characters for everything, and i'd change the style of writing it. I'll probably try and finish my current AAR off soon anyway, there's just not the conviction in me to write something I myself don't find funny. Thanks for being honest though folks (though, i'd expect LlamaD to ). It's just now I do an update, look at it, and it just doesn't seem funny to me anymore. On the other hand, if you write it all before soaking feedback in, you rob yourself of some good ideas. Nice point, thanks!
@LlamaD : Ah, the spam. I noticed them. More than 10 has been deleted it seems. @Musty : We are honest. We guys aren't just the just liar!
Just a heads-up, guys: ETW Demo AAR Contest
Bumpie.
