A new Batman game worth playing. Check it out. You wont regret it! http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=185918
Lame though no open world like the spiderman games, if packed with bit more content I love games of that style. Still looks good and atleast its for the PC, I hate playing games on my 360.
Yea, it does look as if it's restricted to only Arkham. Lets hope you can traverse Gotham or the Batcave in some capacity.
it said you could go to the batcave... and do sidequests (i think) i need to re read the wiki article
Im actually looking forward to DC Online mmorpg, fully travel thru Metropolis and Gotham! New Spiderman game due out sometime next year and a sequel to Marvel Ultimate Alliance...loved that game because had so many characters and unlockables.
Yea that new Spidey game looks sweet as hell. Check out marvel.com for trailers for it and MUA2!
Speaking of comics, can anyone guess where my avatar is from?
Pretty eh week for comics, Cap #41 was fantastic of course especially last page. New Punisher Max with new writer was kinda of bleh, didnt have that nihilistic feel. Btw anyone else reading Guardians of Galaxy? The book is so great and while a bit of a stereotype I love Rocket Raccoon/Cosmo exchanges. Too small to see Ramashan atleast for me.
Ah, here's a panel http://farm1.static.flickr.com/146/3...cf0afeb7_o.jpg I've found that, so far, this whole month has been pretty eh as far as comics go. I think I'm going to give up on Secret Invasion and back peddle to my monthly staple of Daredevil, Thunderbolts, and X-Factor. The only reason why I even keep picking up Uncanny X-Men is tradition. I am however trying to find The Boys TP 1, seems all the shops around me are sold out.
Hehe dunno I give up Ramashan Ill probably kick myself for not knowing it And yeah im picking up Uncanny for the same reason, its just so unbelievably bad now. 501 just left me with an ug feeling, why am I reading this crap. It just doesnt feel like the Xmen. Right now my monthly books of what I care about are Thor, Captain, Avengers (all of them), Fables, Walking Dead, Punisher Max(though whether that remains so with Ennis gone dunno)and now The Boys. Everything else is pretty much filler. Im tempted to drop Secret Invasion but its too tied into the Avengers for me to do so and I keep hoping Bendis will pull something good out of this crap he has created.
Fraction and Brubaker can work with Iron Fist, Cap, Thor, and Iron Man, but their attempts at X-Men stories are pretty meh. Yea, Cap's comic is great as usual. Can't wait for the final chapter. Benid is an alright writer, but Marvel giving him cart blanche on EVERYTHING in their universe is rediculous. Someone needs to take up the reigns, and quick!
I asked if anyone knew the character more out of curiosity. Its Jugger Grimrod from the comic Alien Legion. This was one of my favorite comics growing up. About a group of diverse cut throat aliens in a French Foreign Legion sort of outfit who were called Footsloggers. For those who may never have heard of it, its great read. http://daveslongbox.blogspot.com/200...mics-1990.html
Hey guys, just finished 3 year gig on All Star Superman - final issue 12 passed muster and went up to servers to press yesterday. Let me know if you read it, especially if you've fault or things you don't like. I'm starting more Verigo work (last did we3 for them) on Madame Xanadu and working w' Frank Quitely on the next project with Grant. No time for modding DLV again sob! I just about have time to play it let alone do graphics. Hope this finds you all well, - Tokus
Wait...you work on All Star Superman? Man hth did I miss that on the forums if you mentioned it before...man now I gotta pick up All Star Superman, not a huge superman fan but Ive been a Morrison fan and if a TWCer works on the book as well that is two good reasons to buy it!
A three year run, that's great Tokus! I have never picked up a Superman title in my life, just not a character that interests me, but perhaps I'll check it out, for as Danzig said, your one of us.
My respect for you just went way up Tokus. To think an official writer was in our midst...
Well Im taking a guess here he is the colorist/inker on the books given the credits. Mentioning his name seems rude especially if Im wrong but regardless there is some great artwork in the All Star book. I did read WE3 and thought it was great, and loved the style of the book.
I haven't taken to clean cut Superman as he's so terribly powerful, I prefer flawed human heroes like Batman but Grant (and Vin) made such a job on the stand alone all*star Supe that it was a joy to colour. Yes, I'm Jamie, the digi-inker/colourist, I work with Frank Q. in our studio here in Glasgow, Scotland. Though I love comics I used to work in the UK games industry (hence modding DLV and being here) 'til escaping to creative obscurity in comics. Didn't mention when I first joined this nice group but so happy to complete the series I want to crow loud 'n' proud about it! I'll let you guys know what's next w' our team (same as We3) once it's official - a wee scoop. I don't spend much time on any of the comic forums - prefer this. Anyone play or suffer the DEUS LO VULT mod Repman, Drakken and I cook up?
Yea I have experienced DLV! Pretty sweet if I have to say so myself. I guess I now know where all the proffesionalism found in the mod came from, lol! As of right now though, I'm playing Broken Crescent. It's pretty great as well.
Anybody have a look at the new Wolverine movie trailer?
