Think you are on a good way but in my opinion the Campaign Map banner looks a little bit like a sticker, will try to adjust faction color a little bit and the choose your faction banner looks a little bit washy

Sadly your fix changed nearly nothing, but as i hate things working not that good i searched a texture editing program, downloaded gimp and tryed it on my own. After a few trys i got it. I simply cut the 192 192 192 background color and here it is.

But you should think about changing the faction color or the banner color, because from far away you can only barely see the details.

I think it will be pinkish pelt color would that work
