Ah I love both of those bands. That Putrid Pile is pretty good aswell. Being listening to the old In Flames albums. A very good listen for car journeys indeed.

^ What he said. Also, definitely agree with Arto. Atheist kicks ass. Master is great, especially their early albums. As is Cancer, Autopsy and Benediction. But in my eyes, the greatest death metal band of all time - BOLT THROWER!
I love tech death. Necrophagist, psycroptic and fleshgod apocalpyse are all up there. Immolation are good as well, but not really techy. I dont really like bands like cannibal corpse who invoke more deeper vocals but not as raspy. Bands like bloodbath and opeth do the vocals good, as well psycroptic
