Welcome back Noble Lord, why you were banned ?
Because of my debating in Kosovo thread in the Mudpit, apparently I was "too dominant" and got three months ban from the posting in social groups, posting on people's profiles, and displaying reputation. But that ban finally ended two days ago. It's good to be back.
Wow they ban you because you are smarter than the people you are replying to. What a bunch of crap. Good to have you back man. Anyone seen Clan around, he get banned too lol.
"too dominant" ??? I guess we all have to be careful in the future then
I guess it's one of those funny things that happens sometimes, its back to normal now which is great. As for Clandestino, he is not banned. He is just too busy with the real life, doesn't have a time to come to the forum at the moment as much as he would like to. He send me a PM week ago, saying he will be back soon. With him on the forum we are much stronger when it comes to the debating in those few threads.
Good to see such big number clever, educated and patriotic young Serbs at one place here! Problems are that top positions in Serbia (in almost all important segments of society) are occupied by totally different kind of people now…Medias and Universities are occupied by Belgrade "quasi" elite, corrupt politicians are controled by domestic tycoons and/or foreign secret services and embassies…
The way I see it - the situation in Serbian society that you very much correctly described there, is a repetition (in variation) of the situation we had experienced in the late 15th and early 16th cent. during the early times of Turkish slavery. Republic of Serbia today is a semi-occupied puppet state, similar to post 1459. Despotate in Srem - most vital population is living in Serbian lands under direct or indirect foreign occupation (Republika Srpska, Kosovo, Montenegro), while the urban population is largely pacified or bribed into submission. What is at stake today is not only our statehood but our very identity and culture. Back in late medieval period, our ancestors fled to the mountains to preserve the Serbian culture and historical consciousness, and combined with the limited political influence of the Serbian Orthodox Church and later with the financial/political influence of the Serb cattle owners formally loyal to the Ottomans + the Serbs from the Austro/Hun Empire - we managed to regain our statehood. Our modern way of life makes flight in the mountains partially impossible and partially needless - what we need to do instead is to modify the already successfully implemented strategy. We need to readopt and reaffirm the mentality, mythology (as a set of living archetypes) and the overall stratagem of the early Serb highlanders. We need to revitalize the young generations and to form a structurally diverse but ideologically monolith underground movement on a widest possible scale (I reckon, in territories still free of direct occupation (Vojvodina, Belgrade, Central Serbia, "we" are about 4.000.000 strong as it is - only dangerously disoriented and unorganized). On the short run, we need to adopt the tactics of civic activism and non violent resistance (with short term goal of isolating and eliminating the "5th column" from the state aparatus and public and cultural life in general) and on the medium run we need to organize and finance (how?) a medium sized paramilitary organization, where elite war veterans of the 90's would train and lead the younger, inexperienced men (with short term goal to provide physical protection to Serbs both in occupied and puppet-governed lands, and to assassinate тхе most dangerous enemies home and abroad - and a long term goal to infiltrate the Serbian Army and then evolve into it's elite branch (similar to Komita's of the 19th cent)). Keep in mind that what took us 500yrs. to accomplish in the past, will not take more than 50yrs. in modern days - the modern technology speeded up the overall historical timeline. There can only be one motto: "FREEDOM OR DEATH" (but we should choose the right battles to fight and the right men to die fighting - so that it would not be in vain)
Oki, Vojvoda I am also positive that some kind of revolution of young patriotic and still non corrupted people in Serbia is needed…because this is going nowhere. I have read great article recently by Slobodan Antonic at NSP – I agree 100%, Vojvodina is going away with literally the same scenario like in Montenegro...And spirits in Serbia are at lowest level. I do not know how much you been traveled in Serbian interior, but apart of Belgrade and Novi Sad, Serbia is totally ruined. There is total desperation for young people in some towns, as economy is destroyed and every body are trying to come to Belgrade…So, some kind of awakening of those masses which are totally forgotten by Belgrade quasi elite is must for any wider support. But…how? You gave some road marks…but there are several patriotic NGO’s like Dveri, Nasi etc (mostly based in Sumadija, which is understandable) but I do not see they have made something significant…I would likely join but…Have some advices?
There is that Antonic's article http://www.nspm.rs/politicki-zivot/i...esionisti.html and NSP site have some great articles overall
Here's an even better one - an interview with Antonic himself, from the same website - in English: http://www.nspm.rs/nspm-in-english/o...our-ideas.html I couldn't find the translation for the article you've posted though. As for the patriotic NGO's - don't forget the "1389", although some would brand them extremist, I wouldn't fall for that. The most important aspect of their particular activity is that they frequently organize trips to Kosmet and they keep the channel of direct communication and coordination of activities between the young people from Kosovo and the rest of Serbia constantly opened. That I think is also one of the primaries, not to allow the occupiers and their pawns in Belgrade to sever personal links between us. In two weeks time, on 17th of February, there should be an organized trip to Kosovska Mitrovica - to support a student rally to mark the one year aneversary of the "Zombies proclamation" and to protest against it. The organizers are the students of the Agricultural Faculty in Belgrade - if anyone is interested, contact me in few days when I should have all the details about the trip (all I know for now is that bus fair and lunch should be covered by the organizers). Also, we must prepare for the summer, to travel to Kosovo Polje to mark the anevercary of the Kosovo Battle - last year 2.000, mostly young people from all over Serbia attended - we should keep the fame alive and try to mach that number this year also I agree that the financial situation is grim, nobody is rolling in money (except for the "simitars" of course) - but still, we're not yet starving - and as I've layed out before - two day trip to Kosmet +food costs around 3000 dinars (+/-) - most of us can still afford to put aside that much for the summer.
80 foreign murderers welcomed to Britain: Albanian killers allowed to stay despite being on Interpol 'wanted' list http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...nted-list.html a very interesting article....how feel britons about this....? and a funny page.... http://www.stuffucanuse.com/shockwav...an_singles.htm who want to get married....???
Vojvoda, I am not student anymore, and besides that, no matter those marches you organize are nice, but…. just nice. Do you think something will improve in Serbia because of that…maybe few media will make some side news about those trips and that is all about to happen. I am talking about some organization and effort in direction to raise masses (who are totally pissed of but headless right now) and to change this stinky nowhere going political/economical situation in Serbia. Something which will be politically significant movement...those marches are nice thing for developed countries with no serious problems.
Those marches and protests are still good thing, they show to all of us and to the world that there is no total apathy and hopelessness. And keep in mind that this is not the end of Kosovo issue. The situation in the world is changing and the time will come when historical injustice which was done in 1999 will be reversed and everything will be back in its own rightful place. Until that happens we should do anything that we possibly can to keep the issue alive and full of energy and anger. One of the things that we can do is gather here and debate like the 4th regiment said and defend freedom and justice against the wrong doers, then there are marches, demonstrations, protests. etc. Just until the time comes when history will right the wrongs and we have to be ready for it. And just for the record, I personally believe that thing with Vojvodina is blown out of proportions. Nothing is going to happen there, nothing, zero.
Well, Noble Lord, about Vojvodina, we can discus this issue on the large scale but just read that Atonic’s article; I think it’s already too much. Same scenario as in Montenegro. For example, if you told ANY average Montenegrin just 50 years ago that he is not Serb and just 10 years ago that he speaks some new language “montenegrian” you would be labeled us totally insane or/and probably would be beaten badly. We all know now, it is not joke anymore. And there were the same excuses “No way, will something happened, there is big Serbian majority there” etc. Even in the event of referendum in Vojvodina right now (not to tell after several years of media campaign of local new ruling elite and western media) result would be tight. You have same Serbian majority like in Montenegro (about 70%) and same number of minorities (Slovaks and Romanians are mostly pro Serbian right now but with media campaign…). And you have already at least 15% Serbs who vote either for LDP or LSDV (not to tell regional DS and G17+ and some of their voters are on the edge). I think even there was an article on that NSP site, which explains that perfectly. You have provincial partocratic ruling “elite” and they have already significant power. It is natural they want more –more power, more money, more “combinations” with their taycoons...and soon you have ruling feudal elite and people and tycoons around it who depends and leech from that power. Same happened in Montenegro. It would be very soon the same if you gave some provincial parallel state in some region of central Serbia, Nis for example. Serbs have that destructive centrifugal provincial mentality(with little "help" from outside, and as with destruction of Yugoslavia they are testing this process for fragmentation of Russia I am certain). As Ceda Antic said few years ago – If you give some kind of parallel state to Belgrade municipality of Zvezdara, for example, in 30 years there will emerge some “historian” with clams that Zvezdarci are actually ancient Illyrian tribe oppressed and conquered by evil Serbs. Not to tell even now this provincial government is HUGE burden to Serbia tax payers. Serbia need regionalisation with regional assemblies and governments based in today’s okrug’s which would improve regional development of for example central Banat, because citizens in Zrenjanin do not see any good if central government is in Belgrade or Novi Sad. But now you have parallel HUGE provincial administration with all ministers, state firms and state agencies same as in republic level. And that hungry leeching beast wants more! Sadly I do not see any major party in Serbia push for this territorial organization of Serbia…but I already spoke about our ruling “elite”
I see your point, and very good article btw. The truth is that we see some deterioration in the power of the central government, but it's only temporary. There is no way that Vojvodina will ever be able to do anything.
over 100 members, 101 now. great thing to see.
Welcome all new members - I can't even keep track who's new anymore - since the list is now that big Noble Lord, your optimism regarding Vojvodina is unfounded - the new statute of the province is due to come before the National Assembly sometime this year, so we'll see.... I'm also hopeful that it wont pass the vote, but who knows, anything is possible. The Vojvodinian branch of the ruling party is ever so strong and keeps the central in a kind of check (majority of the party's votes comes from the northern province) - they may even succeed in providing support for the statute come the vote. These people are camouflaged separatists (Pajtić, Dulić & Co.) and are no better than Čanak (extreme communist masked as a liberal) or Šandor (Hungarian fascist masked as a moderate ethnic minority leader) - only much more influential in the capital. So I would say there definitely is a reason to worry, and reason to act to prevent them. I would 100% agree with 4th Regiment here, this is a remake of the "Montenegrian and Kosovo scenario" waiting to happen, moreover, it's happening as we speak! Generally - if 90% of the Serbs both in the province and allover Serbia are ready to confront the separatism - we're Ok - but right now, people are dangerously uninformed and the statute is being pushed by the same party that some 40% of the ethnic Serbs in the country chose to vote for in the last election, and that is now the ruling party!
Yep, 100+ members and counting . As for the Vojvodina, I don't know. It's unimaginable for me that Vojvodina will do any radical steps towards the quasi-independence or something like that. What about the SRS or that new party SNS, how strong are they in Vojvodina?? You guys have obviously better info than me about strength of those parties and situation in the Vojvodina on the ground. I just cannot imagine any Serbs (except that degenerate imbecile Canak) that would do anything that is against the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.
KOSOVO JE SRBIJA! Romania & Serbia forever brothers!!!
welcome Mr. Simone
