It's official: God likes the Blues. Spread the Good News! (via sigs)

"Woke up this mornin'" is such an awesome opening line. Same with "Oh Lordy Lord" and "Had a woman, Lord", also good

Btw, why is it that Brits make such spectacular bluesmen??

    hello everyone!

    i adore the blues

here's some examples of blues from serbia
the group is called Smak, and the guitarist is Radomir Mihajlovic-Tocak(the wheel)

he is famous for mixing traditional serbian folk sound, with the british blues.

    this is my favourite

    Wow that's great!

The first one reminds me of Pink Floyd, a little bit.
The second has an air of Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac.

    I'll share some Russian blues:
Here's Mashina Vremeni (Time Machine), very famous band in Russia:

they're one of my favourite serbian groups.their sound is unique and original(they were founded in 1971)

when they played as an an opening act for Deep Purple in Belgrade, and there are stories that the crowd was calling them so loud, that DP considered not to play also the story says,Ritchie admired Tocak, and asked him how to play

but to cut the crap,i like your first video,it's nice and calm

    some more blues

    John Lennon was great.

To be honest with you, I like the Serbian blues better than Russian blues.

    heh,thanks

Yugoslavia had very, very good bands, one of the best in europe in my opinion.the great music centers like Belgrade,Zagreb and Sarajevo produced many awesome bands like Partibrejkers(Belgrade),Azra(Zagreb),Riblja Corba(Belgrade) etc.

For a communist country,we were doing great, even better than some "western" ones.

But not all communist countries had the same possibility.Soviet Union started the modern music industry very late(correct me if im wrong)while other countries were doing it in the late '60s.

    here's a song,from Partibrejkers(Partybreakers).they began in early '80s,and are a blues/rock band.
