I'm a vicky player but I've just got the HOI2 Anthology off ebay and I'm just getting my head around the game. Like all paradox games the manual will keep you occupied for a year!
EU3 fan. Was kinda disappointed by Rome... and looking forward to HoI3
I never bother with the manual. Took me many months to get the gameplay on all three down.
Ive never played multiplayer EU3 I don't even know how its different from single player beyond there being other humans replacing some AI. What is gamespeed like? Different options? :O
I don't have any of their games yet. Want to get EU3 in that bundle pack coming out soon, when's HOI3 coming out? I'm not exactly amazed with the AI and a number of other things in the game from having bored a friend's copy of EU3 for a while, but it's still pretty fun, even if it seemed a bit hollow, hopefully NA and IN will fix that.
You should definetly try some mods for the game if you are looking for a deeper gameplay. MEIOU and Magna Mundi are largest and best mod projects out there at the moment.
Does no place but Amazon sell the damn collection? I didn't want to buy it from there because I figured I wouldn't get it until next week since they'd only process the order today it said, but I went out to best buy today and they didn't have it, I chekced some other stores online, no stores have it. WTF. Then that stupid Gamersgate doesn't have it either, what the !!!!
I own Crusader Kings with the Deus Vult expansion, EUII, EUIII with NA and IN, Victoria Revolutions, Hearts of Iron II: DD and Armageddon, and Rome. Currently playing EUIII with magna mundi platinum, but my favorite game of theirs is victoria.
I just bought Victoria yesterday when I got mad that I couldn't get EU3 Complete right that second. I instantly got the feeling maybe I should have just bought Doomsday.
Victoria revolutions is an amazing game (be sure to get revolutions!) but it's both blessed and cursed by it's relative complexity to other paradox games. The only way to make the game any better would be to have included somehow the combat model of Hearts of Iron. A great mod out there would be the VIP. They've stopped developing for plain Victoria, but if you have revolutions, they're still developing for that.
well I just bought Victoria, Revolutions is only $10 so I'll probably buy that too soon, just figure I'll play vanilla first to try to get the hang of it and general idea of it. I picked that to get because I figured it's got the deepest domestic gameplay and also a cool combat system since I thought it'd be kinda like a watered down version of the HoI one. Anyone, I love the time period so I hope I'll get into it.

Mound and Blade is not really a Paradox game. But it is a great game, none-the-less and all-the-more.
