You may now create your armies And when numbering your regiments, start at one. See my thread (Hapsburg Monarchy) for an example. Here it is......... Slightly-greater powers: 18 regiments --> 9 Infantry --> 5 Cavalry --> 4 GuardsGreat powers: 15 regiments --> 8 Infantry --> 4 Cavalry --> 3 Guards Not-so-great powers: 12 regiments --> 7 Infantry --> 3 Cavalry --> 2 Guards Regional powers: 8 regiments --> 4 Infantry --> 2 Cavalry --> 2 Guards Vassals & Minor powers: 2 regiments --> 1 Infantry --> 1 Cavalry or Guards Plan you future armies once the game starts as to strike a healthy balance between the troop types.
Oh and you can keep your army lists in your faction-specific threads. For new members who don't have them already, create one. You can refer others for guidance.
And you should probably check if you're involved in any wars before you choose where to put your troops
How much time do we have to create our armies?
Until the game starts.................... Oh and Okmin, I just had an idea about deployment......
Here's an example of Brigade badges, for deployed forces --> in formation of brigades....
and the game starts soon? Any date?
Oh, and please number your regiments in numerical order, like 1st Guards 2nd Guards,1st Infantry 2nd Crossbows 3rd Pikes, and 1st Hussars 2nd Dragoons
Sorry
Wasn't referring to anyone specific Was just general advice, coz I doubt even a moderate power having 200 regiments, actuall doubtful even for a superpower
Are guards foot guards or horse guards or can we decide?
you decide
So we state our army's composition here?
You state it in your countries separate thread. Check out some of the others for examples.
Sorry Will do
Don't worry about it.
So since regiments have to be based on a city or province, mercenary regiments won't do?
Yeah.
I already posted my army but... what about artillery? Shouldn't it be part of the starting armies as well?
