Whoa... http://english.aljazeera.net/news/af...624965299.html Younis arrested? He's the only NTC commander I've heard of, and a figurehead for the army.
OMFG! Younis dead! http://english.aljazeera.net/news/af...129941725.html He just so happens to be assassinated on the day he was arrested and brought to Benghazi? Odd coincidence. While it is true that due to his arrest, today was probably the day he was least protected out of all his time in command, I cannot help but feel suspicion. Don't be overly surprised if it transpires that the NTC ordered his death (though I still doubt this...for now).
this infighting will not help the rebels however
The war is nearly over it seems
But the horizon seems rather cloudy, with that tribal divide Libya has, and the fact, that Ghadaffi isn't completely without popular support might cause Libya to descend into a far longer civil war.
So much for secularism, interesting, how long will Jalil's "moderate Islam" last, before degenerating into something different.
dude honestly I dont wanna hear any of this "islamic extremist state" OK? I am a part of a 600 million Muslims who probably share my point of view that war is not the solution. AND BIG WHOOP so what if the state went "terrorist" did u see their army?? its a joke compared the U.S or any European country. (no offense to the Libyans, I greatly value them). lets pay attention to the real terrorist state of America and Israel.. and YES I SAID IT and it doesn't necessarily mean in "anti-Semitic"
