well, it would be better for them to enjoy sports themselves. It's better to play some football or basket with your friends than to worship some guy who doesn't even care for the club he's playing for. (except women's volleyball. everyone should watch that...)

Yea I agree. The sport has become a giant manipulation and worship instead of acctualy a fun game. Why does one football player get MILIONS to run around, and a miner who digs earth all day long putting his life at risk, doesn't? I would just make a regulation that they can't get more than 200.000 a year or something...
Dude, when I watch sports with my friends I get to practice my favorite sport- heavy drinking and arguing! Sure I like to play some basketball, but again, low competition and for a prize of crate of beer. I guess not all are cut out to be professional athletes.
They are definitly overpaid. I would rather go out and play football, basketball, voleyball, etc with friends than watch the same league every year. World cups however are interesting to watch, especially cus we get drunk before the game and enjoy winning or loosing...
It's not about being a professional athlete, it's about having fun with your friends and geting some exercise. Because those professional guys don't give a damn about you or the club they're playing for.
Yea. I acknowlage only the national competitions. There we have a country, poor beat rich country. While clubs are a big scams to sell players earn money get rich screw the people who are only watching it on TV. In nationals you get to see who has the overall BEST team at the moment. In that I take pride, and value EVERY player that contributes to the game.
