Nowruz mobarak to all who celebrate it.
LOL!!! Fine I won't BTW... I am Afshari Turkmen an yeah, I really miss my hometown even though I've never seen it but I can't go back to Iran, or sth serious will happen to me...
Well, here we welcome you Ilgar Khan
@IlgarKhan I wish there will be a day that every one can return to Iran.
And kick out the likes of Khamenei Anyway some years ago, my best friend (who is Iranian) invited me to attend a visit by Khatami to the UK. I would like to know, what do you think of Khatami?
YAHHHH!!!!! fo sho thx for the good wishes guys btw, anyone here does mounted archery PS:you guys can call me Cavanshir as it is my real name You mean Mohammad Khatami? or the Ayatollah? As far as Mohammad Khatami goes he was some what nice although his reforms mostly appealed to ethnic Persians, it gave everyone a little freedom.(as I heard, I've never had a chance to witness his actions) As for Ayatollah... you know*sigh*
Khatami was just like "all" reformers just a puppet to twit the people of Iran!
I don't look so negatives to reformer like "Cyrus Kabir". However, they are not the best choice, but I think they are the better choice. The main problem of Khatami was lack of authiority. His mind was full of beautifull thoughts. But he was not the man of changing. But to be fair, he was a lot better than Ahmadi Nejad.
obviously... but again I didnt see what he did and wouldnt if I was living in northern Iran either since, authority and laws come there very rarely doesnt it?
I live in south of Iran. And I think authority and laws come here as much as they come to capital. The same should be to North. Maybe the point you are talking about is for many years ago?
i am just saying what my friends and relatives who've been to iran say. they say that they cannot act as freely as they want because of the feudals I dunno the insight though
Well, I don't live in northern Iran. Maybe it's true.... maybe ....
@=IlgarKhan= by feudals, do you mean zamindars?
I really dont know that but in nothren Iran there are "Agha"s. They hold out some rural areas and have like mercenaries where they make some poor population work under them. Bigger aghas call themselves Khans.
It's about the former times. Today something like this does not exist in Iran I think.
well i dont know... prolly aghas still exist but they have no power just wealth or sth.
Khans were thrown out of power during Shah period. There isn't a real powerful khan now.
oh I see well I have a friend whose aunt is in Iran and she's having a problem selling her land
Oh man, those crazy guys in the Spartan group are going to start a verbal war against us...
