Discuss here your favorite Germanic folk, wich folk lived in your nation etc. Anyone is invited. Just stay here for a nice tolk and maybe a nice beer and remember, always behave like a gentlemen. Don't insult each other,
Aha. Are the Spaniards a Germanic People (yes I know they descent of the Visigoths and those guys) but they got mixed up with Moors and the previous Non-Germanic inhabitants of Spain?
nope. The moors in spain dropped in number after the reconquista.. visigoths occupied the north, and there they remained. the people in north spain are still much blonder than the lower spaniards.
Yes. In the North (Aragon, Castilia) the Spaniards are more Germanic, but in the south there are clearly more Moorish influences. And before the Germanic guys you had the Celts and others in Spain, I don't consider them really 'Germanic'.
no i don't consider any folk 'clearly' germanic. they always had some influence from the celts and slaves and immigrants.. just watch our own country. But the north-spaniards, especially the adelaides, have much germanic blood.
Yes, north Spain, not south. The Netherlands are an idiotic mix which no one understands but still the tallest people in the world are the Dutch. Huh?
mmm we aren't a mix... We are nearly pure Germanic, more than the Germans But we have minoritys like all european nations. Turks, Marocs and Poles. I do not really fancy them Isn't it a bit strange that nearly every west european country has a muslim minority? Ow god i hope they don't plan terrorist attack otherwise were screwed For a part, JK. The Dutch are tall thanks to the Saxons Unfortunatly my mother is coming from East-Netherland and her family does not have saxon blood i guess. So im not really tall. My father is a descent of a Roman (how, is the question you can give me. My father has brown eyes, dark skin and black hair and he has from his fathers and his mothers site a clear genealogical register. So no chance he's a Turk or Maroc or wathever. But, his mothers surname is the name of a Roman Fort. You can say its coincidence but i don't believe in that ) So romans were also not tall, that result in that im not tall. In worldconcepts im tall, but in dutch im more medium or small than tall.
Northern people (descents of Norse and Germanic people) are taller than southern people. Romans were short, 1,60 maybe, when you're abroad you're bigger than anyone, especially in Greece, France, Italy, almost all countries now I think about it, while I'm 1,85 and 14, not that tall in Holland
than your taller than me at last Im 15 and i am 1.77
Yes, well I eat a lot and following the traject the school doctor predicted I'll be 1,90-1,95. But ontopic, Germanic people are rather tall, French, though germanic are a lot smaller, when I was 11 at Verdun and only 1,70, I allready was feeling myself tall..., not to mention Asians....
i drink milk, a huge powerdrink,
It's true most Germanic people eat and drink lots of dairy products, as well as meat, one of the reasons they're so tall.
Yep Dairy owns, just like meat
Vegetarians suck. Evolutionary seen they can't rule the world.
Yeah. Humans were first mor carnivore than herbivore but now its going to the different way..
Without meat our brains would be a lot smaller, we would be smaller, we would be in the middle in the food chain and wouldn't be the race we are today. Ontopic In Germanic cultures meat is widely seen as delicious and good to eat.
I think most of humanity considers meat delicious
Yes, but in Germanic cultures even more (bratwursten, schnitzels, frikandellen etcetera). But I guess evryone has got that
In some Germanic tribes there was harldy no wheatfarming, just dairy and meat.
