I thought I'd create this to compare the two most cruel leaders and they both kills thousands of people. Hitler was a hater of Jews and Vlad hated pretty much all his enemies. But who do you think was worse?
Hitler I believe, Vlad was insane but he didn't nearly conquer Europe.
Hey guys, I have to say first History Channel is my favorite channel on cable. As for the above question, well it's not hard really. Vlad the Impaler probably killed thousands, Adolf Hitler is responsible for millions upon millions of dead. Therefore, it would be Adolf Hitler who is the worst of the two!

Hitler was defiantly worse, his middle name though takes all the power out of his name though (it's Elizabett, German version of Elizabeth)

Just because Hitler almost conquered Europe doesn't mean he was more evil than Vlad, it just means he had the opportunities that Vlad didn't, or he just took the ones Vlad didn't. Hitler just did what any evil enough politician would do given the chance. And History channel is also my favorite as well.
It's easy to call Hitler out as the worst guy ever because he did what he did in the age of the camera and it got a lot of attention. I would argue that the Imperial Japanese during WWII were an order of magnitude worse than the Nazis were. The main differences here are a matter of reputation: 1) A decision was made to not overly embarrass the Japanese after the war because MacArthur felt, reasonably so I would admit, that it would have made capitulation nearly impossible due to Japanese pride. The down side to this is that to this day a lot of Japanese refuse to admit things like Nan King ever took place. 2) After the Nazi trials people were burned out on horror and there was a sharp drop in public interest in the war crime trials. 3) The Japanese didn't try to exterminate an ethnic group that was deeply entrenched in the western media industry and had the resources to bring a lot of attention to it. Now, before someone starts--I AM NOT ATTACKING THE JEWS REACTION TO THE NAZIS NOR AM I CLAIMING THEY SECRETLY RUN THE WORLD. It is a fact, however, that they are heavily involved in the media business and have used this opportunity to bring light upon THEIR sufferings. The Nazis also killed 6 million non-Jews in those camps but you'll never see a movie about Gypsies being slaughtered. 3) Many historical figures were just as brutal but their crimes have been diminished by distance. Genghis Kahn was a sick a bastard as ever lived but it was a long time ago and there is no one left who directly suffered because of him...
Millions more died as a result of European colonization of the Americas then where killed by Hitler. That being said, I believe Hitler was worse, at least Vlad saved his country, and possible all of Europe from an invasion by the Ottoman Turks.
I think a more relevant question would be "Who was the worst? The Japanese, Hitler, or Stalin?".. The response: Is there really a difference?
Stalin wasn't as bad as Hitler, and the Japanese don't compare to either. Stalin killed his own countrymen, but not nearly as many people as Hitler.
Hitler of course he simply killed people his more tryannnical than Vlad
