Definitely NTW.
Rome TW...much easier on tactics and tactical moves on the battlefield.Haven't played empires/napoleon so till I get a better PC...
rome might be easier but that doesnt make it a better game O_o
I didn't mean it's easier(though long range units inflict too many damage)but the battle system is much better than in medieval2 and in terms of tactics more realistic.In me2 for example in skirmishes between cavalry(one on one) you always lose even if you have a better unit(gothic knights vs simple knights) AND despite flanking the enemy(partially solved in kingdoms but still exists).What I am trying to say is that the ME2 needs lots of improvements...
M2TW and RTW. I'm not gonna play ETW or NTW until I have a better graphics card.
NTW, its the first one since Rome I actualy thought wow money well spent.
I also vote for RTW - it was a sensation back in 2004.
I vote RTW, just great all around for me really, especially since its so easy to mod there are tons of great ones floating around.
M2TW in my opinion. NTW is useless.

MTW2 with SS - awesome game made mindblowing.
RTW was awesome but NTW has blown me away
MTW1 viking invasion, it just blew everything else at its time out of the water and was really fun to play

I like the idea of the small cities in ETW and NTW but in general I like RTW and MTW2 more.
RTW! Although M2TW is great and Empire is okay, Empire has HORRIBLE graphics, the men move like robots, and the factions seem to be clones of each other (at least unit wise).
Well, I love them all but my most favorite would be RTW and M2TW!
