I saw the cutest cat today.
Ah well Uly you can always adopt like I did, here's my new buddy. The shelter guesses him to be around 10 months old. Even though he's chilling in the pictures he's really high energy. They call him brownie, but I doesn't really respond to it so I was thinking of naming him something different.
Ya, what's pissing me off now is vets. He got sick a little over a month ago, wasn't eating, and hurt his foot, we brought him to one vet who we told we didn't have the money to do all too much, so she tells us she wants to do $4000 worth of tests, and does nothing at all of use and charges us $600 anyway. Brought him to another vet who helped and got him feeling better up until about a week ago. We were away and my sister calls up saying he can't get up and won't stop crying. She goes to the first vet to ask for some help, and the made up a story that she told us when we first brought him that he legs and spine are covered in tumors and he should have been put to sleep. I wanted to kill the woman. About another dog, won't be for a few months at least when we have some more time to watch him and whatever. I want to get a shelter or rescue dog but I'd still want a purebred, my mom wants an Australian Shepherd and a puppy, and no shelters or rescue groups around have any that we found.
One thing I've learned is that when you adopt a rescue whatever happens in the end at least you know for a time you did what you could and probably gave it a better chance at an enjoyable life than what it had. Yes vets in a way aren't much different than some of the doctor's I've talked with. None are perfect and all knowing even though we wish they would take a personal investment in us.
WOW... Vets are horrible where you live, Uly. Vets here are like... Super-lovey-dovey-animal-loving people who would actually never do stuff like that, and cost really cheap as well. I mean, I went to get my dog to get a shot against some stuff, apparently we needed about 4, we gave him 2 of those shots, all those 4 shots cost us only about 200$, in addition to other medication!
Yeah it is sad... at least you know now who better not to go to...
We have 3 cats and none have had any problems. I have laid about 7 animals to rest 2 cats, 1 dog, 2 hamsters and 2 lizards.
I'm still contemplating on a kitten. I'd love to raise one, but I also want to spend money on a motorcycle license and I have to pay for my own study. Plus, even if I have the money, I might not be allowed to get one.
KITTY!

I went to a shelter before to check out some dogs. Most were pit bulls, they had a German Shepherd and a Shepherd Rottweiler mix and some other things, what got my interest was a Husky mix, I added his picture. Was really energetic but I hope it's just from being let right out of the cage and wanted to run some, he settled down and just lay there playing with a tennis ball after a few minutes. Just have to take care of some things first, go back and see that he won't eat my cats, and I may take him.
Ulya, he looks amazing. Beautiful dog.
Ya, we've had him a week now. Very hyper like we thought, very playful and fun though. Past 2 days he's taken to chewing on everything though, like my socks and shoes, when they're on my feet.
I have a 2 and a half year old English Labrador. Here's a picture of her: Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
