I wish the Total War center and its participants a Merry Christmas.

On these holidays, a team of my friends has prepared a special gift for fans of the First Rome.
I have long said that I am leaving Rome modding and moving on to more modern engines. And so it would have happened if my friends had not convinced me to participate in the Roman version dedicated to Hyboria. Moreover, I once made a good base for this universe. (remember Hyboria Alpha for Alexander game)

A good friend of mine started a project on the Crown of Aquilonia (the plot of the Robert E. Howard universe). We cooperated with other modders and prepared a good build. Many of my developments were used, as well as the work of other famous modders and free content.

The plot here is dedicated to the events when Conan the Barbarian was not yet a king. In other words, he is only a pretender to the throne here. The main task of the player is to take control of one of the factions of the civil war (Rokod) in Aquilonia and lead it to victory. The mod turned out to be quite large-scale, despite the fact that regional events.

Therefore, those who still appreciate old Rome, it is best to try the Crown of Aquilonia for taste.
The gameplay there is almost in the style of Total Realism. That is, no indulgences in terms of resources. From the start, you have to plunge into a bloody confrontation of factions.

I will say right away that this mod is not entirely based on Howard artwork at 100%, but also on the plots of followers, such as Robert Jordan or Olaf Bjorn Locknit.
And of course, there is something here from us, from lovers of Hyboria.

This mod cannot be attributed to my projects. This project belongs entirely to the Hyborian Literary Studio, which in turn is part of the Creative Flame project.
